If you like Isaac you'll love Pathogenic
A interesting rougelike that's both fun and informational? 9 bucks for this is a complete steal and I can see it growing from this point forward to something even more deep. Seriously though the premise of a bacteria in a body as a video game is ingenious on its own! Im starting to see a trend with combining different weapons together to create a build so all in all it's a no brainer, get this.
Love it
This is a gamer's game. It includes multiple difficulty sliders to adjust to fit your skill level, allowing you to learn the game at your own speed. The theme? Phenomenal. From the air pockets in the lungs to the pulsing of projectiles in the heart? So good. The only thing I wish it had was the "final" stats of items after all the infusions. You have to do a bit of math to figure it out. I would recommend this game to everyone. We need more of these types of experiences.
Very fun game with a bopping soundtrack and a really cool concept.
Jedna z nejchytlajvějších Rouge-like her a navíc od Českého vývojáře.
It really is a dream to see a competent rouge-like inspired by one of my favorite childhood games, Spore. Game's really fun and visually appealing, a no brainer purchase for any gamer.
For the love of christ, can you PLEASE increase the threshold to which the collector gets aggro on you after attacking. I haven't been playing the game very long and have already had my runs completely ruined because i go to dash out of the room just because that's how the game has accustomed me to travelling, just to have the collector take barely any damage, gain aggro on me in like the second zone and just ruin the run. It's not engaging or interesting gameplay when you need to go out of your way to traverse a sale item room in a way that's opposite of how the game conditions you to move. Like if i am going to lose my run, a good one at that, I would rather lose legitimately rather than lose to a boss that's borderline unkillable in the first couple of zones unless you dodge everything perfectly that only got accidently triggered after trying to simply dash out of the room. I know this all seems simply and trivial to be complaining over but that's exactly my point, its the small subtle annoyances that really push players away, especially when the majority of the rest of the game is exceptionally good. Sorry but you lost me on this game already though. In my past 5 runs, I had 3 really great starts and 2 normal. Two of those three good runs ended in the intestine because I already had some nice upgrades and my ballistic flagellum pulled aggro of collector literally after a fraction of a second of dashing and causing barely any damage. In the third good run, the same thing happened effectively but in the stomach. The other two runs were mediocre where i didn't have to worry about pulling aggro accidently because my build wasn't super strong. It is absolutely infuriating seeing all of my good runs be ended early over something bull like that simply due to the fact that it is a good run so I have to play differently so I make sure I tip toe around a shop area as to not aggro a boss that will pretty much guarantee your death in the early zones. Props to the developer for great reviews of the game but simply due to the fact that a good majority of my runs where I have a strong start have all been ended for the same ridiculous reason to the extent that in many of those runs I feel like I'm getting punished for having a good start is just too irritating for me. Its a shame because nearly everything else is great but I just can't stand playing a high stakes roguelike that just has an assortment or even one cheap, anti-gameplay mechanic that can seemingly end your run out of nowhere for an unintended reason that the developer otherwise did not design such gameplay for you to die in the cheap fashion that you did. I would like to mention that me giving it a negative review is not how I truly feel, I would in 99% of cases gives this a positive review although I feel there would be higher likelihood of this comment being seen if it is not drowned out by the countless other positive reviews. At any rate, game was quite enjoyable up to that point to which it became unbearable and am most likely gonna be done with this game and move on.
