Its hard, untill you find out which skills are usefull & fit your playstyle. Every run is different, but replayability is given since you can enhance you pathogenes permanently after each run. Great game!

One of the best games I have played in 2 decades. It has everything. Requires skill and thinking but not ninja level particle physicists... everything about it from the game play to the music screams pure video-game joy. Worth every cent.

Describing Pathogenic as being like Hades or Binding of Isaac does neither of the games justice. Pathogenic doesn't have the personality or charm of those games, but the playability and polish are fantastic enough to put it in the top tier of rogue-likes and stick shooters. An easy recommendation given the price and satisfying amount of content.
