Excellent roleplaying opportunities, interesting characters, endless build customization and an enjoyable story even if it is a bit of a rehash from Planescape and KOTOR 2. The problem is that the minute to minute gameplay is awful. This game uses hard, mostly core Pathfinder 1e and basically none of it is explained well or tutorialized. You can make your own builds, sure, but if you aren't a hardcore Pathfinder minmaxer or look up a build online you will just die. The encounter design is abysmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all throughout after act 1 and it just gets worse and more tedious. Enemies with absurd spell resistances you can never penetrate are SPAMMED. Don't bother trying to play a mage in this. Enemies appear with 40 AC when you have +15 to hit or so. This game has been out for years and none of its glaring gameplay issues have been patched, and that is enough to earn a thumbs down. This game might be enjoyable on Story difficulty, but then there isn't much "game" left beyond clicking on the weakened enemies and watching their health bars deplete. There is no difficulty offering thoughtful, tactical gameplay that doesn't require ridiculous minmaxing to succeed with.
it is great
With the player's choice, the combat (real-time or turn-based) and Mythic path leveling system is a fun concept to play in a CRPG like this. Unfortunately, the story telling and crusade progression doesn't hold up in the same standard. The plot felt predictable hitting a lot of familiar high-fantasy moments, and companions felt frictional in their interactions (or lack of). It's as if they're a collection of quest givers to follow you rather than a group of people relevant to the main story crusades. While I don't mind the crusade army management, the system breaks the immersion for me in terms of CRPG gameplay.

Cool.
Стоит пройти хотя бы ради сюжета.
WE NEED A THIRD GAMEEEEEE!!!!
최적화 굉장히 좋습니다
consigliatissimo se vi piace d&d, ci sono tante classi e sottoclassi..il gioco mi sta piacendo tantissimo!
Very much improved from Kingmaker, the Pathfinder system allows for plenty of interesting character builds and roleplaying options. Great writing as usual from Owlcat, make sure to download "Better Buffs" or "Buff it 2 the limit" to remove the single biggest annoyance with the game: prebuffing. Without one of these mods the game is a chore, hope the next comes with this functionality baked in. Abelard, leave a positive review.
