Game is abandoned and the developer is instead creating a sequel and going fully into AI generated images.
Apparently, judging from the patreon posts if the dev, they went full in on AI image generation and seemingly abandonded their game.
author is transphobic as can be seen in the “Transgender Agenda” passage in the bathroom of Part 4. both out of place and transphobic, doesnt even seem to be parody or sarcasm at all. no need to include the whole passage but a part of it goes like "we are wasting money on useless surgeries and medical intervention just so that they can realize what a terrible mistake they have done and kill themselves." i wish i never bought the game on here, there are alternate platforms that support the developer less.

Usually when you see a game that's free elsewhere, available here for money you are getting something extra. In this case the extra is more bugs.
not completed. abandoned for the sequel which is made with AI.
Game is unfinished and seems to be abandoned. Some sections of the game bugged, missing art in some places.
I cannot recommend playing the current version at all despite the interesting premise. Besides having gotten stuck at the point of how to infect the captain's brain and some UI annoyances, the game has a far more serious problem. I didn't find the sex scenes to be at all sexy. Perhaps I needed to grind through the unsexy sex to progress the story, but I didn't care enough to find out by trying that. Most importantly, this game is NOT COMPLETE. I don't know why it's marked as complete. In fact, perusing the discussion thread shows there used to be more content back when the game was made in Flash and not HTML. This game starts off promising. The art is pretty good, and the scene text pretty erotic if you're into this game's parasite-based mind control theme. Unfortunately, playing too far into Chapter 2 and beyond becomes increasingly buggy with some content inaccessible or throwing error messages. It's also needlessly grindy, as you will spend a lot of time clicking to farm parasites from infested characters in order to turn them into more complicated parasites or throw them into resource sinks like the mall tentacle pits. It's beyond me why making a tentacle pit, which narratively produces a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of parasites, can't obsolete the parasite farming issue for you. It's even more beyond me why you have to click once for every parasite you make in the crafting bits, when you could well need to craft 5, 10, 50, or more at a time. Apparently the most important thing to have crafted by the end of Chapter 2 is living parasite suits for every named NPC, which require 10 parasites each (not necessarily the basic type either!) and a long wait for each one to mature (why can't we just order our fully controlled NPCs to show up at the laboratory when needed?) Chapter 3 bugged out for me and was only completable by skipping to Chapter 3 directly from the starting screen. Chapters 4 and 5 either don't have a stopping point or don't provide any guidance for what the end goal is, and have similar grind issues to later Chapter 2. There's also a mechanic for changing parasite colors which is implied to have some kind of effect, but like ♥♥♥♥ did I ever begin to figure out how or why. I was already dealing with enough tedium without delving deep into that mess. There mostly aren't graphics for different colors of parasite on NPCs anyway, probably because that'd be a lot of recoloring and inflation of the game's filesize. I strongly suspect the dev would be better off ditching this mechanic as part of improving grind. That said, I did find the background music and sound FX to be reasonably well done, but it's not enough to save it. Maybe when the game's final version is released that will change. Verdict: 4/10
developer's interesting passion project turns abandonware due to horrendous coding, leading to a remake with potentially the same issues as the first.
Parasite Infection tells a story of a "parasite infection" that happens throughout the game. You play as a tentacle with mind-controlling abilities, and attempt to turn larger organisms (pretty much just humans) into breeding grounds for your species (or other things). Parasite, and Body Modification are two tags that I enjoy the story implications of, however are often either pushed into deep "hear me out" territory, or barely the surface of it. Parasite Infection was one of those potential man games, if it finished it's story, improved it's text UI into something more user friendly, had just enough budget to afford more variations of art, didn't lag once numbers started reaching endgame levels we would've had something genre defining on steam in my opinion. From my understanding Parasite Infection was coded on HTML, i'm not the craziest CS person out there so this apparently means that it's bound to become laggy. Once you reach any significant number of tentacles, the game starts lagging on each interaction. Becoming tedious to play when every interaction required a minute to process. Finally, the developer deciding on making Parasite Infection 2. In the discord for the game, the dev made an announcement that they would start working on Parasite Infection 2, while Parasite Infection (1) wasn't finished yet technically. The artist who drew all the art for Parasite Infection (1) I believe is either gone, or does not do this art anymore. It also costs too much money for the dev since this is a passion project for them(?) Therefore they resorted to using AI images for Parasite Infection 2. I believe that I will most likely not purchase Parasite Infection 2 at full price (currently $15 USD) maybe at 60% or higher I will consider it. The idea that I am paying for what seems to be Parasite Infection, with a brighter font and AI generated images just leaves me with a bad taste. Like buying a AI Gooner Slop puzzle game you can easily find on steam, any game with genAI images just mentally becomes like every other AI game out there.
игра классная, мне все очень понравилось (что аж русификатор для нее сделал Ссылка ).
