TLDR: Hilarious, especially if you 100% the first game. Weaker story than the first game - due to change in structure (not necessarily a bad thing). Would recommend at 50% price or 100% to support the studio Edit: Scarlett is a TERRIBLE Antagonist and needs to be rewritten. I'm not saying there is no place in the story for a character like her but her arc and introduction into the AVN needed to be waaaaay more delicately executed. Worked out in the end. New cast of characters that are more charming than the first game, Frankie is a quirky antagonist used to drive some of the already explored girls' story forward. The concept of building up the resort as a core story is nice and I cant think of any other improvements here. But I see the studio has made multiple other games in the AVN genre and I would have liked to see a bit more oomph out of the plot than its has initially given. (I haven't finished the game as of review) Some of the characters from the first game have cameos that are tasteful and well done. Karen is WAY funnier than in the first game and character personality as a whole was bumped up a notch and it feels great - not overdone. This is reflected in the new characters. There are some instances of gaping plot armor, especially early on but the game makes up for it with its punchy humour. The first game made me laugh, this one made me sit back in my chair cackling for a whole minute on multiple occasions.

After the first game, I bought it with very high expectations and great curiosity about the story, but I have to say that, at least for me, it doesn't even come close to the first game. The first game was amazing for me in terms of its story and how it was told, but for some reason, the second game's story felt a bit lacklustre and wasn't as engaging as the first one. In my opinion, the story and the game feel rushed, as if they were hurriedly put together just to get it out as soon as possible. I was expecting a more engaging story, like the first game, and I see that the third game is in development. I hope it isn’t rushed like this one and comes with a well-crafted, engaging story like the first game. Still, if you’re interested in this type of game, you can give it a try. I especially recommend trying the first game it was truly great.

Paradise Lust 2 je vcelku zajímavým pokračováním, které úspěšně mísí erotiku s humorem a překvapivě vřelým příběhem. Není to jen o nahotě, je to o budování vztahů v tropickém ráji, který působí živě a lákavě. Má působivý vizuál, uvidíte více než jednu bradavku, hlavní hrdina je stále sympaťák, všechny slečny na ostrově mají svá specifika, příběh hezky plyne. Jen prostě to není lepší než první díl. Naopak, je to jako kopie prvního dílu jen místo cesty za přežitím a nadějí, budujete hotel s otravným francouzským komisařem, který se u vás rozhodl ubytovat. J'avais bien aimé le 1er opus, donc je ne peux que laisser une évaluation négative à celui-ci, en tout point inférieur à son prédécesseur. Pas besoin d'en dire plus.

First one is better, but this one is fine too.

Its a rehash of the first game. Bit less grind but still rather straightforward clicking with some freedom to check the different scenes in different order. Not worth the full price for me but on a good discount its ok if you like casual AVN style. You can visit all the "rooms" of the first game, which make up about 90% of the locations of this new version. I guess it is very convenient to be able to reuse all your art assets. Most of the girls are the same as previous game, and the new ones dont have as much conversation options etc. Story is good continuation of the previous game, and if you played that I guess it is nice to be able to revisit those places. Other than that it feels a little like minimum effort addition. The Napoleon wannabe feels especially stupid and annoying addition as pointed in some other reviews. Would prefer a bit more meaningful story development. The Paradise Lust studio part of the story is the real part, as well as Birgits storyline, I guess. Those would be a good building point but is a bit shallow click-through as it is. Minigames are rather boring jigsaws and similar. Music and sounds are non-existent or basic dingdongs. Art style is well done cartoonish sexy times as the teasers show. If you like this type, its a good clicker when on a good discount. Pro tips: Holding ctrl still helps move dialogue faster, and the history button allows quickly checking if some discussion was too fast. And save often, in case you realize you forgot to touch someones leg for or check their ass for achievements at just the right time. Hopefully next time the MC and his harem can afford a new shirt and skirt, although the trailer seems not. Man its 2.5years since I reviewed part 1 and still grinding these :D

Runs well on Steam Deck OLED with default settings. If you liked the first you will like this, its more of the same, though with less of a narrative hook. Characters are charming and scenes are pretty good.
