I can't stop playing...my inner child has everything she wanted in a pocket monster game and more. Everything is so cute and the world is so expansive and beautiful. I spent two hours exploring Mount Obsidian the other day because it was so cool to look around and rock hop around the lava beds. Though...half that time i was climbing up the mountain with just my stamina bar and the grappling hook. When I reached the top [spoiler] i beat the boss without even expecting anything up there! [/spoiler] I've only just hit level 50 and I've not even explored half the world because base building is my bread and butter. While there's room for improvement, building bases on [spoiler] pirate cove island and is beachfront castles [/spoiler] is so much fun, albeit time consuming. To the developers who might glance over this comment: Thank you so much for pouring your love into a game that values our time and love of video games. Palworld is a work of art as it is the best game i have ever played in a decade. I'm so excited to see where the future takes Palworld and Co. To others: If you were waiting for Game Freak to push out an open world saga with your nostalgic friends and pocket monsters, stop waiting. This is the game they will never make and so much more. The only thing that would make this a 11/10 is improvements to base building and adding a musical score for open world exploration. Although the latter is finely not necessary given the ambient nature tones included. Get lost in Palworld...but... remember to set a couple of alarms for bedtime.
