Palia is a cozy, relaxing game with a welcoming community, beautiful art, and plenty to do at your own pace. whether your're decorating, fishing, crafting, or exploring with friends, it always feels rewarding. The developers keep adding meaningful updates, making it easy to keep coming back. Highly recommended!
I was just browsing steam one day, bored and wanting something new. I hadn't been much into MMOs since I fell off of Wizard101 years ago. This was free to play and had good reviews, I installed it without much thought, didn't even know what it was, I assumed some silly horse game from the Royal Highlands background they've got. Imagine how confused and delighted I was to find it was my dream MMO. I haven't loved a game this much since I was a kid. It's a cozy safe space and I adore the villagers and community. Within just a week it ranked third in my most played games list. I love Palia, and highly recommend it. Granted, it's not for everyone, the lack of combat turned my wife away from it, but it's what I love about it. conflict is in the form of natural person-to-person interactions, not from grinding random enemies in a loot slog. I love the skills and mechanics for relationship growth in the game, it is a bit grindy, and a lot of the cooking recipes require the expansion, which is not free, but for the hours I've sunk into it without having to spend a dime and the richness of the world... 10/10. It's worth a try at minimum. I am so glad I found it and tried it, it's my new favorite thing since forever!
