I'm going to keep it short, the game doesn't respect your time when it outright lies about customization options. The "two story' harvest house doesn't allow you to build a second story at all, despite it's extremely high price tag, resulting in many wasted hours, and quite a lot of frustration. A pretty solid 0/10,000
Love the game, have been playing it for over 3 years now. Its grindy, but you get rewarded for your hard work. Its a social game, so even if you don't have friends you can still team up and share the loot. I would recomment this game to anyone who likes to do things at their own pace. The downside to this game however: Is that since the beginning issues regarding the chat have not been resolved. After 10 or maybe 15 minutes of playing the server disconnects you from using the chatbox. And unfortunatly the only way to fix this is to restart the game. So for example: You can type in the chat box, but it wont send the message. It then says there is an error. Putting in a ticket has no use, because its been a problem since the game came out. And its a general problem, I'm not the only one.
Considering it's in EA and already has about a hundred plus hours of content I'm looking forward to seeing this in it's final form. Great cozy game, lot's of things to do, somewhat grindy, MTX are too expensive, some bugs and glitches, but it's addicting and fun and I lose time like crazy when I play. Wish the party/community/social aspects were more fleshed out and the game had more built-in mini games and events to participate in, but the seasonal events and bundle boards are always fun to grind out.
Top Tier game. Literally my favorite. Its so easy to get lost in this game vs reality. The art, the story line, its all beautiful. So much thought went into it.
10/10. I have a horse called Banjo and Eshe still doesn’t like me. I didn’t get into Palia the first time I played it. Nearly 200 hours later, I have a strict ranching routine, dress as a cowboy, own a horse called Banjo, and have a standing appointment with Reth at 4am round the back of Jel’s shop. So that’s going well. Palia is wholesome, laid-back and properly cosy. It has that same feeling as Stardew Valley, a little world of its own that you can disappear into for a few hours. The community is lovely without being overbearing, and the biggest crisis you’ll face is missing the two-hour window to catch a Rainbow Butterfly because you were busy having an intense game of Spam Pot. It’s perfectly acceptable to take three weeks to finish a quest because you ran out of inventory space picking up unopened oysters. There’s no rush. You can fish, farm, hunt, mine, romance people, hoard an unreasonable amount of money or just wander about doing whatever takes your fancy. My house is an absolute mess because apparently decorating is less important than accumulating wealth. My best friend is a K-pop princess and every time we play together we perform a k-pop routine until someone else joins in. I've walked for a good half hours worth of real time on horse back with total strangers to help someone else complete the mission that gets them the horse, more than once. Eshe still doesn’t like me, despite my best efforts. And the best bit? It’s free. Obviously there are cosmetics you can buy, because the developers presumably enjoy having electricity and food. They’ve got to make money somehow. It’s peaceful, pretty and genuinely lovely to spend time in. Anyway, I’m off to see Reth at 4am. Eshe won't approve.
this game was nice at first then it got so many bugs that can put you off the game
This game is amazing. The landscape the stories, the characters and their story line. My first computer game. I have Oculus, PS5, and Wii and i am surprised at how much I am enjoying it. My first cozy game and i will say 98% of people playing the game are kind and helpful. Now the only down side it the addiction factor. I have played probably more than I should but I am saving a ton not going out. I'm a little on the older side and I learned about twich and I love Plucky and tipped my toes in the world of Discord. So we are not to old to learn.
