It's a beautiful story with a lot of thought put into it. The art and music couldn't have been chosen better. Although the pacing might be perceived protracted, I have always felt every line had its place and contributed to painting a rich and complex picture of a character.
Masterpiece
Yes, I recommend this game. Greatly enjoyed this game. Glad I got to experience this game. Honestly, I was hoping to see more after the credits, but I'm satisfied with the ending. Thank you for making this game. <3

Pale Cachexia was a story I wasn't expecting, it starts with a slow pace with not much going on. But as soon you start to dive in the disturbing, and sinister feelings this story elaborates by its incredible writing and music. Along with the moments between Esther and Reina, which in all the bubble of melancholy it portraits the calm and vivid moments really are the ones that get you off guard.
Thank you.
An emotionally and psychologically gripping story that I'll remember for a long time!
Pale Cachexia is a meditative story of friendship, loneliness, and illness. It follows Esther, a young adult girl who travels into a forest in search of a manor in search of the last lead she has about a cure for her treatable, but seemingly incurable illness, Pale Cachexia. There is supposed to be an apothecary there, but instead, she meets his daughter Seina, who lives in and takes care of the manor all alone since her father passed away, also from the Pale. Seina agrees to let Esther stay and research her father's documents for mention of his cure. Pale Cachexia has a slow meditative pace—in its first act, it details every intricate step in Seina and Esther's routine of taking care of the manor—that definitely won't work for everyone. Such a slow pace often wouldn't work for me. Sometimes, it does feel a bit repetitive, or takes a while to move on to the next plot point. But everything about Pale Cachexia, from its blurry, watercolor-esque backgrounds to its somber, sparse soundtrack, makes that pace work. At first, its almost calming to read Pale Cachexia. But slowly, that tranquility gives way to drama as the deadline for Esther to find a cure nears closer, and Seina's emotional baggage from her father's death resurfaces, leading up to a horrific conclusion. Really, not much happens in Pale Cachexia, but I found it to be, at first, a soothing slice-of-life story, that gave way to a powerful exploration of friendship and loneliness. 8/10
I really enjoyed this story. The art and soundtrack were great.
This was really good! The atmosphere of the very beginning of the story was really scary and gripping. And now that I'm done I'm sad!! Hurray!
The tale of two lonely people trying to understand one another. With a tinge of mystery and horror. The story doesn't pull you in right away, but gets interesting the more you learn of the characters and their pasts around halfway through. The art, the music and the writing blends well together. It's well worth a read. Would've preferred to have the novel end on the scene before the last one, as it is much more powerful than the one after it, but it is a fine piece of work nonetheless.
