About

You are a Paladin that took an Oath to liberate the land and its Cities from enemies coming from another plane of existence.
The game combines elements of RPG and light deck-building where Cards / Mana / Recruitable Followers and always-on Blessings must be synergized to Move, Interact and Battle with unlimited undo mechanics during battles to find the best possible outcome.
This game is a labor of love made by and for people that enjoy complex and thinky board games, digital or physical card games and deck builders, puzzles, strategy games and chess.
The randomness is limited and somewhat mitigated making it ideal for players that like to plan ahead.
Absolutely no micro-transactions, live service, virtual currencies, always online or any of that, ever. You just buy the game and enjoy high complexity challenging fun.
Since v1.9.0, the WINDOWS version of the game can be entirely played via console and text to speech for blind or visually impaired players.

Card-based everything: movement, interaction, battles. Akin to a resource management game with puzzle mechanics.
Slow paced: take your time, plan your turn, manage your cards and resources wisely.
Heavy focus on Strategy: maximize your current hand and synergize all your resources to make the seemingly impossible, possible.
Deep, intricate gameplay with sessions typically lasting 3 to 5 hours depending on the scenario.
Turn-based battles with unlimited undo/redo possibilities to allow you to explore and find the best outcome - should you take wounds and clog your hands for the next 3 turns or should you use all those cards and come out unscathed but unable to move on the next turn.
An ever-changing experience with randomized maps, decks and varied character combinations let you experience a different kind of puzzle each time you play.
Configurable scenarios, characters and decks allow you to fine-tune the experience to the level of complexity and commitment that suits you best.
Awesome power curve: you start powerful and grow even more powerful, if you can synergize your cards thoughtfully that is.
Challenge-based tutorials to introduce you organically to major game mechanics.

Similar to the thinky board game systems Paladin's Oath is inspired by, you are expected to rack your brain when playing this game if you want to succeed; although the experience is not stressful with no real-time pressure and unlimited undo/redo during battles (the most complex part of this game) allowing you to change your card configuration for better outcome as much as you want.
The game already ships with multiple scenarios each offering a unique type of challenge. The suite of Characters + Oath combinations also enables you to fine-tune the experience and provides varied playstyles: move more, recruit more, ability to use stronger cards more often, etc.
Paladin's Oath was designed to be extensible with full modding support so I'm hoping the community can contribute more scenarios, maps and heroes.
If you are really into the game and want to contribute and have some basic scripting experience don't hesitate to reach out.
If you enjoy this kind of custom board game digital "adaptation", you should try my previous game Mighty Dungeons which was my own take on the classic HeroQuest board game.

Mage knight, en moins joli mais memes mécaniques de fou !!
How do you do anything? Nothing is intuitive and I can't figure out how to do anything other than move. I can't even end my turn. The UI is horrible and there are no instructions. As bad as this game is working out to be I'm not spending my time trying to figure this out from the web. Yes, I got filtered. Make fun if you want. I'm not putting any more effort into this game. Asking for a refund.
Great puzzle
Love this game and Mage Knight. Huge combats can be a little finnicky assigning damage and casting complicated spells but overall highly recommend
This game reviews recommend this as a better replacement for the janky TTS scripts for Mage Knight. I have to disagree. The UI/UX is so bad that I personally think it's clunkier than the TTS experience.

Adaptação para o melhor jogo de tabuleiro de TODOS OS TEMPOS! Mage Knight! PERFEITO!
A great digital Board game based on the heavy board game MAGE KNIGHT. I enjoy both games!! The actual Board game however has more scenarios. There's a great steam mod of the game on TTS with script and a menu! The only problem I have with the digital is that the UI is klunky and hard to use sometimes. You may also mod and create mods and maps too! Mage knight AKA Paladin's Oath both the digital and board game, you are a mage knight on a crusade to complete a task in a certain time such as exploring, defeating monsters conquering cities ETC. There is either multiple players or a dummy player that picks up the tempo in solo mode. Your score is based on victory points or Fame. The player with the most fame is the winner generally unless the scenario says otherwise but usuallly its fame. You explore a random map with random enemies and sites. You can enter a magic spire or a dungeon for instance and fight an abomination for treasure or mana. You can conquer a city or a stronghold or deal with a village or monastery. Your movies and what you do are affected by a deck of cards you get every turn as well as a stack of mana dice and mana crystals you can acquire. The mana dice are random. Each round is based on turns. Turns are primarily how many cards you have left that have not been discarded. If you have a dummy player it just keeps taking cards until it runs out and declares the round over! Be sure to play the tutorial. Its a hard game to learn but once you do its very fun!! The board game acutally is better. RATING: 9/10
I hated the controls. Just...why? Maybe I should try to play it as a blind person, as it's set up for that. There are lots of positive reviews from people with very few hours in the game.
-First run at the first tutorial "got stuck"; no idea how to proceed -> no indication of anything that I should be doing -Restarted and tried again; got to the town, recruited a fella, attempted to heal (was out of leadership) and then pillaged as the town-tutorial window suggested. Ended turn as I had spent all my cards ...and failed = ??? = Disappointed and refunded. Would not recommend the game for myself, so I wouldn't do it to you either. ............................................________........................ ....................................,.-‘”...................``~.,.................. .............................,.-”...................................“-.,............ .........................,/...............................................”:,........ .....................,?......................................................\,..... .................../...........................................................,}.... ................./......................................................,:`^`..}.... .............../...................................................,:”........./..... ..............?.....__.........................................:`.........../..... ............./__.(.....“~-,_..............................,:`........../........ .........../(_....”~,_........“~,_....................,:`........_/........... ..........{.._$;_......”=,_.......“-,_.......,.-~-,},.~”;/....}........... ...........((.....*~_.......”=-._......“;,,./`..../”............../............ ...,,,___.\`~,......“~.,....................`.....}............../............. ............(....`=-,,.......`........................(......;_,,-”............... ............/.`~,......`-...............................\....../\................... .............\`~.*-,.....................................|,./.....\,__........... ,,_..........}.>-._\...................................|..............`=~-,.... .....`=~-,_\_......`\,.................................\........................ ...................`=~-,,.\,...............................\....................... ................................`:,,...........................`\..............__.. .....................................`=-,...................,%`>--==``....... ........................................_\..........._,-%.......`\............... ...................................,<`.._|_,-&``................`\..............
