Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You play as a Monarch in possession of an ancient soul-stealing crown with magical abilities. With its power, establish a kingdom in a perilous wilderness and defend it from mutants and bandits roaming the land.
Build, gather resources, farm the land and more to turn your fledgling realm into a commanding, self-sustaining kingdom. As your fame grows, more will flock to your banner – but so will those who have come to overthrow you.
Construct a kingdom from scratch and transform the wilderness into a developed community. Decide which buildings go where, and then manage your citizens to automate everything from there! Don’t like where you placed something? Just pick it up and toss it somewhere else!
Throw whole trees at the sawmill to make planks or run through the forest carrying your sawmill to absorb trees along the way! Resource gathering is fun and easy thanks to your crown’s power. Or maybe you have too many enemies around. Pick up monster nests and place them near bandit camps to have them fight each other instead (and obtain free loot!).
Villagers being eaten by mutants? Run across a lake at 100 km/h to rescue them in time! Being shot at by outlaws up in the hills? Spin-attack so fast that you take off like a helicopter and descend on them from the skies!
Manage resources and stockpile enough food to last the winter. Guard your farmlands (and peasants) from hungry mutants while waiting for your crops to grow. Keep polluting workshops away or see the land turn barren. Ultimately, keep your people happy or see them desert you for the outlaws.
Overthrown can be played offline in single player, or with a group of up to six friends in online co-op!

great animations and fluid movement but the rest of the game............. could not get organic waste to feed the people and start growing food with fertilizer (i know, burning trees and letting vegetables rot , still....)
tl;dr not for $25, but maybe for $5 or $10. running around is kinda fun my problem with this game is it feels like it tried to do too many things and simply didn't follow through on any of it to the end for the payoff. it's a citybuilder, but you can't upgrade or really do much with (other than carry) buildings it's a sandbox/builder, but you can't destroy/build the terrain easily/conveniently to create your "masterpiece" there's management, i suppose? it's a simulation/automation, but the builders won't build/repair what i want/need? there's combat, but no customization. no armor or stats, i don't even know how much health i have. no i-frames, so if you get knocked down, you better pray you complete your animation that you have absolutely no control over before you get hit again some achievements appear to be broken there's an airship, but as far as i can tell, it doesn't do/hasn't done anything for me and you can't control it? sprinting around is kinda fun, although the pause to "charge" it is sort of annoying. i feel like i saw the tiktok once upon a time and thought the game would have found its way, but i don't feel like it has. the bones are there, but i'm afraid there aren't gonna be enough muscles to lift this thing out of the grave.

Unfinished mess.
This game needs some serious help. I've experienced numerous mesh issues where I infinitely fall, and I've cleared a huge area only to have ghost artifacts of the blocks I've cleared obscure my buildings. It's ridiculous trying to carry a building and actually have it eat the resource you're farming. Even trees can be a pain sometimes, just straight up going through the sawmill without processing. Mobs can infinitely stun lock you and create some gnarly death spirals when there are three or more big creatures. Dodge is literally your only option; dashing is not an option, which is crazy since you're going to have to use hit-and-run tactics. I've placed buildings only to have them fall through the mesh or fly off into the sky until they disappear. To be fair, the game could have a lot of potential, but single-player is just meh. Bugs make it unplayable for me, and multiplayer trivializes everything. In one day, I was able to progress through the tree on almost every map. I wouldn't say it has any replayability.
I think I'll enjoy this if it stops crashing after the first time I fight a boar.
Good gamefeel. But it's an unfinished project. Don't call that an 1.0 if it's barely different from before :/ 25 bucks is not worth it.
I lost interest after 30 minutes. Honestly it's really disappointing, I really liked the unique ways you were able to interact with the world, like being able to pick up whole sawmills and bringing them to the trees instead of the other way around, but there's like no reason to? Even though that's the whole gimmick of the game, that you have ludicrous ways of interacting with the world?
I'm just really, really disappointed that this was what they considered completed. I had to constantly reload the game for pathfinding to even work. The economy of the game doesn't exist, to get more citizens you have to have high happiness and mine were never all that happy. Honestly, this is a game best avoided unless under a steep discount.
I played this game both on steam and xbox during early access, often in the dev server with the creators helping to report/recreate bugs. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed that I never got to experience this game to any of the potential it ever had. While I can't speak on it now, the early days of the games multiplayer function were extremely lacking for the player 2 which was my main role for the majority of the time. I basically ran around as though I never collected the crown. I could fight, sprint (without additional stamina bars), and gather materials but that was about the most of my experience. The pollution mechanics never have been balanced, where outhouses once produced too much waste, destroying the towns overall quality of life, but upon making them fully cosmetic, there now isnt enough compost to start any form of agriculture. The research tree used to be at least helpful in explaining what everything was for. Somehow, now, there is LESS information after researching something and I am left asking myself "what does this even do in the first place??" I dont typically write reviews; especially not long or negative. This game though, really disappointing.
Note for Overthrown devs: Remove pollution mechanics or add anti pollution mechanics as well (buildings purify it & structures to isolate it), pollution spreads everywhere like crazy & uncontrollable, unless industrial buildings are relocated or removed. Instead of pollution mechanics introduce climate/season mechanics (plants, creatures spawns, are more season specific); Needs a some sorts of storyline or greater objective; Just an idea, introduce some kind of isekai stuff (reborn into this new world, from our real ones); Other NPC kingdoms & Kings/Queens or small non hostile settlements, more domesticable creatures can be added make things more interesting.
