A ridiculous VR game about fighting bloodthirsty and increasingly deadly sharks using makeshift weapons. Elevate the battle from the open ocean to the skies, and even into space! The sharks will stop at nothing to devour a tasty human.

Overboard is one of those games that just instantly captivates you, the lighthearted charm about the nonstop onslaught ichthyoid slaying VR title is supported by very fun mechanics of being able to fly like iron-man through water, air and space alike. This is one of those games that you can just sit down with your friends, kill sharks, and have fun. There's no over complicated story elements, it's just, endless shark shooting fun. The one flaw that I can see overboard having is that some people with motion sickness can get affected by this title, as you are superman-ing through space and stuff, though that is more of a general vr problem of course. 10/10 Some of the best fun I've had

Overboard is a free to play VR game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has 6 unlockable maps and 3 difficulty settings. Try this game, you might like it.
Overboard is a VR only first person wave survival shooter with a self-admitted silly premise as you kill waves and waves of sharks that don't stop coming (even when you fly into space). Gameplay consists of using various weapons against waves and waves of sharks that swim at you repeatedly, that's all there is to it. While the game works, there's very little long term interest or value for gamers. Alongside the very shallow action FPS gameplay are a plethora of technical defects and questionable design decisions. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. The game is completely free. This is noble a gesture that shows dedication to both gamers, and the gaming industry. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free.

it is good
супер. такие игры у меня в библиотеке - супер инди. они коротенькие, с отличной идеей, легкой графикой. играть в них и показать другим одно удовольствие
10/10 would kill 99% of shark population again
Game is cool but I wish there was more content. Unfortunately I don't think that will ever happen because they're too busy working on a gorilla tag type game for 5 year-olds on the quest. Sad but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.
