Over The Top: WWI

I highly recommend this game to anybody who loves WW1 or 3rd person shooters. I have played this game for 42 hours and it is still really fun and immersive. This game includes many things from the Great War which I will name here: Flamethrowers, Gas, Tanks, Planes, Armored Cars, and many more. This game also gives you the ability to build fortifications, and dig trenches. As of 2026 this game is new and is still being updated with new maps, fixed bugs, and new nations to play as. Currently the game only includes the western front but that might change, but you can download free community made maps on the Over the Top steam page. I have to be honest the multiplayer is kinda glitchy for me but thats probably only me, and I enjoy playing with bots a ton. The game is decently historicly accurate and really chaotic in a good way. I felt very immersed in this game and I hope WW1 games start to pop up more often. Playable nations are UK, France, Germany, soon USA, and Im sure more is on the way. If you read through my whole review thank you, and for other WW1 expierences I recommend Isonzo, Gallopoli, Battlefield 1, and some Non-Shooter are Rising Front, and Dig In.
