This game makes me nostalgic in a way I didn't know it could.
BUY IT HAVE FUN
Hecka fun
Get in the trenches we have a banger
Very fun game so far. It's janky but not in a bad way, it's well balanced and the optimization is not terrible (it's not very good either but for a game with 200 player servers and constant chaos it's acceptable). I hope they don't ruin it with pointless balance patches and instead focus on more content and optimization.
Guys, get this game!! Its so much fun!! I originally got me this game for the 200 people battles (played it during free weekend) and I was a little worried that the playerbase might be too small after free weekend, but still wanted to give it a try. When I looked at the server browser and saw that there was no full 200 server at 11:30pm in EU (server had 170 people playing), I was disappointed at first, but after I joined a server and started playing... .. it didnt matter at all ^^ The game is also so much fun with 150 people, or 100 or even only 40 on a server. Also in comparison to that, the other WW1 games I would buy as an alternative only feature like 48 slot servers.. *cough* Guys, get this game and start digging!!!!!!!!!! FÜR DEN KAISER!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEUTSCHLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Coming from hell let loose, this is a refreshing game. Its not as frustrating even though you get killed about as often. Missing a bit of teamplay so far but I see a lot of new players. Would certainly recommend!
Havent played it that much yet, but i think this game has huge potential. -Bots are among the teams, which makes it easier to get a few kills, and fills the battlefield, while still maintaining the challenge when facing a real player. -Digging trenches is actually useful, unlike in many ww1 games, and there are many options to enhance your trenches with buildings. -Machine guns are limited and guns in general feel pretty lifelike. The damage doesnt seem overly high, but remains realistic (depending on the server of course). -The attention to detail is amazing, i hope this game keeps getting as much love while in developpment as it got until now. The few issues i would like to mention: -Pretty varying performance throughout matches. Requires a decent CPU to remain above 60fps at most times. But this will probably get better as developpment continues. -Larger Tanks seem pretty overpowered due to their huge health pool, making it hard to take them down (even for 3 specialists at the same time it took ages). -Digging is useful, but still pretty slow sometimes, while also making it hard to dig precisely. I understand if it must remain realistic so that you cant dig too much, but gameplay wise, it feels like too few people are really using it because it is time consuming and rarely rewarding enough. -A few things like the interface while spawning in, or the changes between animations when reloading and throwing a grenade feel a little unnatural, but that might be on me. Despite a few performance and balancing issues, i think the game is pretty fun and i do recomment trying it out, and following its journey.
