Control a space rover as you jump to avoid obstacles on a horizontally scrolling landscape while shooting down alien ships that shoot missiles from above or charge you head on. A love letter to the first game I ever played on PC.

A very fun game, challenging too but this game still needs a lot of work to be done, Some mines are too close to each other and the Neptune level is lagging super badly but the levels and the things you have to shoot at are actually really good and well put together.. Luckily I didn't have to spend all my quarters to beat this ;D I can't wait to see the changes to this game!
Simple shooter for one afternoon. The only thing that doesn't work are the achievements. Because to the arcade-style gameplay, the controls are straightforward. Moving left or right, firing from the front and main gun, and jumping. You may simply hold down both buttons continuously because you have infinite ammunition. The main cannon can be aimed toward enemies while the front gun only shoots straight ahead. The crosshair is the only thing that is lacking because it is difficult to see where the mouse is. If you use a gamepad, you can avoid that issue. Actually, playing with a gamepad makes the game a walk in the park. You can turn on the auto-fire, aim the main gun at an angle and just drive forward. The only thing you need to worry about are holes and mines you need to jump over. These can be devilishly placed and kill you instantly. Most enemies are harmless. They simply show on the screen before blowing up after one or two shots. Some of them try to fire back, but that doesn't happen often because they have no chance. All stages are unlocked from the start. However, you still need to start the game from level 1 if you want for the score to register. Once you reach a certain stage through this "normal" play, you can continue from there even if you quit. There are no prerequisites for completing a stage successfully, but each one keeps a time and score. The only thing you need to do is get to the end, which is indicated by a bar that slowly fills up as you proceed. Graphics are decent and there are no performance issues. Since the game doesn't have a lot to work with, there shouldn't be any issues to begin with. It only has three stages on Mars, eight stages on the stony moon, and two extra stages. Everything can be completed in an hour or two. Except for three achievements, which are broken and don't unlock, the game doesn’t have any special extras. The only interesting thing are the pixel and monochrome style that change the look of the game. Because it reminds me of old 3D games from the era before graphic cards, the pixel aesthetic in particular was a blast from the past.
really cool little game had an absolute blast buggy do pew pew
Cool Moon Patrol's clone but with more planets and modern graphics. There's some bugs too (sometimes the rover finds itself under the ground or in the air to turn on itself) and the controller support setting lacks (Not easy to play with the 2 joysticks and the "A" button at the same time). I recommend it though because I'm a "Moon Patrol" fan.
Fun to play and it is running smoothly. Very addictive !
