Before I played Osminog Adventure - The Lost Island, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
I absolutely love it! Gorgeous graphics, an interesting story and fun mechanics, what's not to like?

Nice game and i guess someone has to write a review about this game, so i'll just write the first. Decide for yourself.

RPG Maker strikes again! Osminog Adventures - The Lost Island is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This RPG Maker eschews the traditional high school anime club dropout fan-fiction theme of a little village/school/whatever and instead opts for a pirate themed high school anime club dropout fan-fiction. Apart from that this is just painfully generic RPG Maker pixelcrap, and wow, look at the player count. Who could have foreseen a 2D retro pixel RPG Maker asset flip wouldn't succeed on Steam? Inconceivable! I'm going to work on being less sarcastic on my next game review, I promise. Also one of the characters is a furry and wears an animal mask. This makes the game even worse. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
If you like old school rpgs deffinitly give this game a shot! has funny humor good written characters (especally the weird hat guy) and a compeling story. if you look for a few hours of good fun PLAY IT! ;3
Awesome RPG with lovely characters. There's a lot of love to detail and a fun, classic combat system and retro feel!
