"Orpheus's Dream" is a charming looking stylised 3D rendered puzzle game from China where you click around your house to solve various puzzles, recover your memory, and there's a cat, too, which of course draws in a lot of gamers. But what this really has in abundance is bugs... there's a good chance you won't be able to finish this because of all the glitches, and that's a shame. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a $4 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to buy soundtrack DLC from Steam to "support" the "developer"... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and can handle the possibility the bugs won't kill your attempt to play this, and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.

bastante bugado
This game has potential, but the floor planning isn't great resulting in unsolvable puzzle with the RNG aspect of the game. And there's some coding problem causing the game to become laggy the longer you play or even crash.
невероятно скучно
一直試錯才到下一關,越試越煩躁 整體來說還OK啦,要是能有個存檔點就更好了
very pretty game but im very stupid and couldnt complete it
so cool!!!!
It's pretty but it's got several bugs. First time launching it the character ended up outside of the rooms and I had to reload. Then in the last chapter's second part I got stuck in the attic and couldn't use the ladder. So I never could end the game :/
