Now I own the collectors edition of ori finally for xbox console
I love the progression and combat systems in this game. The only thing I wish was present was new game+.
Excellent 2D game, I'd throw this in top ten. Cute, touching story. If you're new to gaming, I'd melt your heart by trying this. Can't wait to play the sequel :D

The Ori games are likely my favorite Metroidvania Style games. Love this game! Beautiful music, beautiful graphics. The story will grab you right out the gate. Gameplay is tight and wonderful. Can't say enough positive things. If you do enjoy the first Ori, you MUST play the second game. It's improved in every way.
Wonderful game to play on the steam deck. Music and story is top-notch
Ori and the Blind Forest is a fun, cute little 2D platformer/metroidvania with interesting and enjoyable movement mechanics (the Bash is my favourite of the bunch) and cool setpieces. Ori, the protagonist of the game, is probably the cutest, most adorable little critter i've ever played as, I just want to give them a big long hug! The art is also beautiful, with magnificent backgrounds and calming music, but I wish each area had a bit more uniqueness to them to prevent them from blending in. My favourite one was definitely Mt Horu which in my opinion looked the most distinct and was the most fun to traverse. It's a short game, only taking me 8 hours to beat (it would have taken me 6 if I wasn't an idiot), and if I really wanted to I could easily beat this game in less than 3. The combat system was kinda sub par, but because it was so much more focused on its platforming, that wasn't such a glaring issue (although I really would have liked some bossfights that made use of its platforming mechanics that weren't just escape sequences). It has a heartwarming story to it, with all the important characters ending up as a family together, which was really nice to see. 8.0/10, I do want to play will of the wisps in the future, and I hope it improves on what is already a very good gaming experience.
Such a good game. Love the animation style, storytelling and gameplay difficulty actually scales as you progress through the game. I don't usually play platformers but this is a winner.
