About
Something is different about this household.
Orderly Havoc is a game about time management where you must do chores to keep everything neat and tidy. As your to-do list fills up with chores, your mind fills up with stress. Check your list to make sure you're up to date with all the tasks of the day. If you fail to do your chores quick enough something horrible may happen to you.

There are over 40 chores that can appear on your list. Throughout the day you will have to complete different chores that all come with their own minigame.

Throughout your day you will need to manage your level of stress, as well as hydration if you wish to keep up your pace. Make sure to keep completing chores to keep your stress down, and keep drinking water to stay hydrated to ward off fatigue.

There is more than meets the eye in this place. Something strange is lurking, don’t let it get in the way of your purpose. Time runs on always, and you must work hard to desperately preserve what you have and struggle for every extra second longer you can get against the inevitable decay.

As you progress further, the incessant march of time will see your tasks become more numerous and increasingly difficult. You’ll have to learn to manage multiple chores at the same time, strategizing which ones you need to complete first.
Orderly Havoc was developed by Angad Matharoo and Gabriel Larocque with sound design done by Chris Dang and Pato Flores with additional sound design done by Alexander Zaparniuk and music composed by Daniel Shypilov.

Reviews
Been looking forward to playing this game and it didn't disappoint. Overwhelming and anxiety-inducing by design but also satisfying to play. Each chore around the house has its own unique charming mini-game which keeps every run fresh. Just a really cool unique idea for a game, hope it gets the attention it deserves! Would write a longer review but I have to go stuff some meat inside my bookshelf
Interesting mystery you want to see unfold despite doing slightly annoying chores. At first glance, this game may seem deceptively simple, but beneath its minimalistic storytelling lies a deeply immersive experience. The narrative is light yet effective, setting the stage for your role as a character obsessed with order. Your daily routine is dictated by an ever-growing list of chores, and while the premise may sound mundane, the execution is still interesting. The entire game takes place within a single house. Visually, the game embraces a grainy, retro aesthetic that evokes the early days of gaming, before the era of advanced graphics cards. While this may make the environment feel somewhat empty, it also enhances the eerie atmosphere, reinforcing the unsettling undertones that linger just beneath the surface. At its core, the gameplay revolves around completing a variety of chores, each presented as a unique mini-game. Once you grab your to-do list, tasks begin to appear one by one, increasing in weirdness and difficulty as you advance. These chores are random, meaning you may find yourself repeating certain ones multiple times in a single stage. This might be an intentional design choice that cleverly mirrors the character’s obsessive tendencies. Each chore plays out as a distinct mini-game, injecting an element of fun and variety into the otherwise menial tasks. Watering plants turns into a bubble-popping challenge, stocking the fridge requires strategic grid placement, and cooking food in the microwave transforms into a bouncing ball game. Time management is crucial, as each mini-game runs on a timer. The more efficiently you complete tasks, the faster time progresses. However, staying idle is isn’t an option. If tasks pile up for too long, your stress levels will skyrocket. Stress increases whenever a new task appears, and if the meter fills completely, it's game over. Fortunately, keeping up with your chores lowers stress back to manageable levels. Energy is another resource to manage, primarily affecting your ability to run. While running out of energy doesn’t mean an instant game over, it does make navigating the house more tedious. To replenish it, you’ll need to stay hydrated. Luckily, there’s always water available in the kitchen. To help you stay on track, the game features an excellent object-highlighting system, ensuring you can always see the location of relevant items through walls and ceilings. The only minor hurdle comes from locked doors, but even this is handled smoothly—once you encounter a locked door, the necessary key is highlighted. Also, this problem is completely removed in later stages. One of the more challenging mechanics is the inventory limitation. You can only carry one item at a time, which means if you pick up something irrelevant—say, a broom when you actually need a window cleaner—you’ll have to return it to its original location before grabbing the correct item. This can be a minor nuisance, particularly when racing against the clock. Beneath the seemingly mundane structure of chores, a creeping sense of unease gradually unfolds. Each completed stage culminates in a chilling revelation—either the house or the character (or perhaps both) are deeply disturbed. The connection to the daily pills you take becomes increasingly unsettling, hinting that they may not be keeping the horrors at bay but rather masking something far worse. In one stage, you even have to defy the main objective by disposing of the pills in order to unlock the rest of the game. Beyond the main experience, additional difficulty settings offer a greater challenge, though they remain optional unless you’re determined to unlock every achievement.
This game is absolutely amazing. The devs also came by my stream as I was playing it and it was clear they're very passionate about the game and what more they want to do with it. If you like WarioWare or other mini-game games this one has a really fun twist on it. Fair warning though, it's a bit high paced on the later levels so you need to be good at dealing with stressful situations. xD
재밌음!!!!!!!!! 신선하고 숨가쁘고 취지에 딱 맞네요
I have enjoyed my time with it thus far
Pleasantly surprised by how [strike] stressful [/strike] fun this game was. Some minigames were a little more confusing than others, especially with the limited time; managed to 100% it in about 6 hours. Hoping more people find out about this little gem!
하지마라 시간 졸라 아깝네 엔딩까지 열심히 쓸고 닦았지만 그게 전부인 쓰레기 게임 이 게임은 스팀에서 청소 안되냐?
Wow this game really impressed me! Highly recommend it!
