In the roomscale VR wavegame Orc Hunter you have to defend yourself against endless hordes of orcs. To do so you can either use swords in close combat or fight them with a bow or magic staff from a distance.

Some things to note -Blocking the "bigger orcs with HP numbers" is hit or miss on my end even if my shield is up and am on flat ground against the enemy. This gets worse on hills because its like their hitting my legs. Did not even attempt to try to block their attacks with the dual wield "cool wield" setup. -I liked how in the F2P demo the bow was easier to use, and what i mean by that is the bow doesn't attempt to "auto-correct" itself when you draw it. Am sure those who used the bow in the F2P demo can understand what i mean the bow felt more "flexible" if i can find any way to describe it.
Game is stuck on credits from start. Contacted developer and have yet to receive help. Can't get a refund because steam says I have over 6 hours of game time. Not sure how when the game has never made it past the start up screen.

EDIT: I changed from recommended to not recommended. It is clear that this game has been abandoned for over a year now with very few changes to what it was when I wrote this review. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really like the concept of the game, but its very clearly early access. I found myself getting extremely frustrated with the animations. You can't tell if an enemy is blocking or vulnerable, and even if they are blocking on the left, a sword swing from the right often just does nothing, allowing the rest of the horde to close in while you're flailing at an enemy you're not sure will die. Also, I died to being stabbed through my shield a few times by the bigger orcs. It could be that I'm just doing something wrong, but it'd be nice if the devs made the animations more clear so that i can be sure that dying was my fault and not a fault of the game.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Note for Oculus users on Windows 10: It's UE4 and you do have to do a Windows 7 compatibility fix Where do I start? Well, I got this game in a bundle. I would not have paid any money for this game. I had already tried the demo so I wasn't expecting much. And yeah, I think I got even less. This game is basically broken. Teleportation doesn't really work in this game. You have to keep trying several times to move. It will show you places you can and you can't go (yellow or red). However, sometimes you try to teleport to a place you have just been and it says you can't teleport back there. I had more difficulty trying to teleport than I did with the orcs. Which brings us to the second problem, combat is awful. Now, the bow & arrow felt fine. But the sword / melee combat is just terrible. You basically just wiggle your wrists in front of you. There's no skill involved, other than not being flanked by the orcs, which can happen because you can't teleport properly. Rate 3/10. Looks nice, but the broken teleportation and the basic melee combat just makes this a poor game. Avoid. Should be free to play because that's what level of effort this game is. It's like someone learning to code in VR. You can't seriously ask money for this.
Its a very light demo thing... Not really recommended in it the state its in now.
