Opportunity: A Sugar Baby Story

One of my favorite adult visual novels I've played in recent memory. Despite being a kinetic visual novel, it wholeheartedly makes that up with its writing as a whole, which is always really fun and engaging. The game also manages to strike a great balance with its humor and never crosses the line into cheesy, embarrassing attempts at humor. On top of that, the game has a unique and aesthetically pleasing art style, even though there are a couple of scenes where the art seems to lack a bit of polish compared to the rest of the package. But overall, this is a pretty great purchase, especially at its low asking price.

I bought this for probably the same reasons you are going to buy it. However, I never expected to fall in love with the characters. They are believable, kind (but not saints), and pragmatic. I only through the introduction, but the writing has me hooked.

Well, after playing the game, I can give it a rating of 3/5. The story starts out interestingly... the drawing of the scenes is cute and "appetizing"... but that's about it. Around the middle of the story, you lose interest, and! SPOILER! I don't like Olive, and I didn't want a relationship with her. At first, I thought it would be a relationship with Roman, but the plot took a different turn. It upset me. Overall, the entire story loses interest and becomes simply boring. The game is well-made (technically), but I don't want to recommend it. Because I personally didn't like most of it

Incredibly good little game, some might consider the topic a little risky but its done very well IMO. The characters are all likable, the humor for the most part is entertaining. Adult scenes are done nicely in a charming style/ Worth a buy even at full price and will gladly keep an eye on these devs

The narrative of this VN is very engaging, the characters are relatable and lovable and the art was lovely.

I really enjoyed this game with all of its acceptance of body types and overall sex positivity. It's really good story with various fun scenes. It felt lighthearted with a few serious tones. Opportunity's dialogue was pretty well written; I especially enjoyed the main character and her internal thoughts. The characters seemed like real people and were pretty relatable. I think this one is worth a try.

Opportunity A: Sugar Baby Storyis a linear visual novel about a struggling single mother named Jaqueline who meets up with an old colleague who offers to help relive her days of becoming happy while being sexually active with many types of partners. Gameplay: There is no real gameplay in this game at all (it’s a VN duh) but there is the occasional choice making which is just asking questions for context about the world. Story: As a girl who grew up with a single mother throughout my life parts of the story i can relate to which this story touched on impeccably. There are parts of this story that almost made me nervous going into. This story tackles serious topics such as a missing father figure and a one of Jackie’s children questioning if their father’s disappearance was their fault and other grounded parental topics. While at the same time it delivers plenty of lewd humor with a huge LGBTQ cast of characters with plenty of steamy sex scenes with many memorable characters and their own stories on how they become better people too and how it treats sex work as a positive endeavor for those who participate in it. It also includes themes of open marriage/sex work/poly relationships and fwb all of which are very respectfully displayed. NSFW Content: There is plenty of body diversity which will feels realistic. You have curvy/petite/buff/skinny characters who will engage in sexual acts with Jackie all of which are pretty hot!! (personally i’m not really big on standard mxf sex but that’s okay if you are!) One of my bigger complaints is that i wish there was a gallery so i can fully appreciate the amazing art behind them and the stunning as hell writing behind them!! Overall i’d wholehardly recommend this game as a whole for those who are looking for an amazing queer focused sexual adventure that also happens to tackle the ugly realities of parental duties and its downsides. 9/10
