Good for the price, has a lot of potential but currently needs a lot of work. Considering it's been out for 3 years, it's a little behind on a few mechanics and ai work. Clearly an Alpha state so would not currently recommend. However, if you like tactical games like ready or not, this could be a really good competitor in the future, so would recommend if you enjoy tacticals regardless.

I LOVE THIS GAME
Excellent potential. The enemy AI is very realistic and the gunplay is satisfying. Weapon customization is super in depth.

super cool
Initially, I was excited for this. I had been on a kick for something tactical and realistic. Seeing the video and all the good reviews, I picked this up to try it. To be blunt, I have NO idea where the good reviews are coming from. Issues: 1) PAINFULLY slow. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind slowing down to be tactical, stealthy, etc. But when I say painfully slow, I mean running feels like you're running on a treadmill being carried by roombas to your destination. 2) Bots are not realistic. If you plan on being stealthy and getting past a few sentries to your target, forget it. I let a patrol pass by, get several meters away, walked around a rock to move to the next section of cover, and was immediately shot at. 3) Getting shot is absurd. Once you're hit, you suddenly can't even scope in or ADS. That makes zero sense. 4) Audio isn't directional. The sounds are great and punchy, but at NO point can you tell the direction it's coming from. Perhaps that's to be a bit more realistic, but even within a decent proximity, you can get the general idea of where a shot is being fired from and this game does not deliver on it. I even tried to adjust some settings, enable virtualization, and still nothing. The sounds just fill the speakers rather than a percentage to give you a rough idea. 5) Graphics are both good and bad. Some textures are really nice, and others you're left scratching your head as to why they're so degraded in quality. The only good thing this game really delivers on is the gun customization. But my gripe with that is that I can't tell if it HELPS tune your gun, or is an aesthetics purpose only. Either way, it's not enough to make this game worth while.
