Oops, I Said Yes?!

I played quite a few of Voltage games and I think this one is of the better ones. The premise is both wild and perfectly plausible, and the romances are well-written. One of them felt a bit forced, in my opinion, but it's a matter of taste. The only few drawbacks I can mention here is that due to the premise of the game there isn't much "will they, won't they" after you finish the first story and its epilogue, and I personally didn't feel the need to play the second chapter — I like stories about falling in love, not exsisting relationships being tested. Another critique is that many backgrounds are once again reused from other Voltage games. I'm not really paying attention to them anymore, but it would be nice to see a unique, fresh and updated set of backgrounds in a future game. All in all I really enjoyed the game and it helped me relax and unwind after long days.

Voltage games have been my guilty pleasure back when I was a teenager, so I've been binging them whenever they go on sale. With that said, this one was surprisingly... okay. Heroine has some spine, personality and a face this time, and it was fun to see an architect heroine in a Voltage setting. Poster guy is Kunihiro, but I honestly didn't like him and Senkawa that much. Takao was a delight to read, though the cube as the only thing he does besides being a family guy was a disappointment, and he definitely would've been my favorite if not for that. Hasunuma felt really good to know throughout the story. with pretty realistic woes and anxieties, though he felt a little too much like my best male friends, oof. The game references on his route were very welcome, though, since Tokimeki Memorial got me into taking Japanese seriously more than 10 years ago and I kept wondering if the architect heroine was a model student like Shiori, someone who kept getting models done with junk parts like Yuina, or a complete bookworm like Mio (and Hasunuma, and definitely me as well). My favorite one was Kiba by far, even though sadistic guys are my last option on otoge. He's witty, sharp, loves what he does and really caring. I found myself kicking my feet and giggling like I was a teenager when they started building the model of their dream house, and that's the best I've felt toward a Voltage game in at least 12 years. Kuranosuke Kiba might honestly be my favorite out of all Voltage men now.

I love this game, at the start I was abit weary about the price, DO NOT LET IT LURE YOU away, I am indulged in the characters which although I assumed this is a dating sim but they actual have human emotions with all different stories and expressions of love and hate. I do wish there were more options which we choose that impact storyline besides the mere few lines each episode but besides that SOILD 8/10

This visual novel is really worth the price. Aside from different love interests, the story itself is refreshing and long enough to be worth the price.
