Only If is a surreal first person adventure-puzzle game. It takes idiom into reality.

I know it's free, but you just hear a white guy say the n word, sexually assault you, etc, while you kind of just trial and error your way through a trash game. I pretty much lasted until he started saying racist ♥♥♥♥. Wtf It wasn't even good till that point, even for it's release date, I had just started playing through my backlog and it was short, but it's not ever being played again. Don't play this, there are better free to play games, and even as a free game, isn't worth your time, attention, or the heat it produces on your computer as it plays/downloads.
Only If is one of those games that feels like it has ideas buried somewhere inside it, but almost none of them ever come together into something enjoyable or coherent. It tries to be a surreal, narrative-driven experience with shifting reality, strange puzzles, and a mysterious voice guiding you through everything, but most of the time it just ends up feeling confusing, clunky, and honestly kind of boring. The biggest issue is that the gameplay never feels fun or engaging. Instead of interesting puzzles or meaningful interaction, you get a lot of trial-and-error sections, unclear objectives, and moments where it feels like the game is just guessing whether you understand what it wants from you. Rather than being mysterious in a clever way, it often feels random. The story also doesn’t do much to save it. There are attempts at edgy dialogue and surreal twists, but they don’t land well, and the characters come across as more annoying than intriguing. Even when the game tries to be deep or symbolic, it’s hard to care because the experience itself is so frustrating. Visually and mechanically, it also feels rough. Controls can be awkward, pacing is inconsistent, and the overall structure jumps between ideas without properly developing any of them. The good: - Occasional interesting visual ideas - A few surreal moments that stand out - Short playtime (at least it ends quickly) - Some attempts at experimental storytelling - Atmospheric sections in isolated moments The bad: - Extremely dull and repetitive gameplay - Confusing or unclear objectives - Poorly designed trial-and-error sections - Weak and inconsistent storytelling - Unlikable and poorly written dialogue - Clunky controls and rough mechanics - Inconsistent pacing throughout - More frustrating than engaging - Feels unfinished in many areas - Not rewarding to complete Overall, Only If is a messy and frustrating experience that tries to be mysterious and artistic but mostly ends up feeling like a poorly executed experiment. It has a few ideas worth noting, but they never turn into something enjoyable to play.

Only is a very slow-paced, first-person exploration game focused almost entirely on atmosphere and quiet observation rather than gameplay. You move through empty, abstract spaces, piecing things together mostly through mood and subtle environmental cues. It’s extremely slow, even by my standards, and a bit buggy at times, which can break immersion. That said, it was okay overall. It clearly aims for a reflective, almost meditative experience, and while it doesn’t fully land for me, I can appreciate what it was trying to do. It’s the kind of game that will really depend on your patience and tolerance for minimal interaction.
A Unity asset-flip with really annoying writing, and gameplay that left me stuck within the first 30 minutes. Not worth your time.
Everything about this game is bad and its not fun just boring slop.
Only If
Genre: Cringefest Perspective: 1st Person My Rating: ⭐🔹🔹🔹🔹 Honestly all I have to say is: What. The. Actual. F*ck? ...I will take my easy achievements though, so don't mind me ._.
This has to be one of the most annoying game I played... It's not interesting, frustrating, and if you are something that easily gets motion sickness, you will surely be sick from playing it. A waste of time. Might try to finish it just to 100% the achievements but that will not be an enjoyable moment
i love vinny
