ENG: Don't let the graphics fool you, there is a very interesting game behind, basically we are a very very weak character, to advance we have to use our wits taking advantage of everything we have at our disposal, from items, terrain, and mainly the enemy spells which we can capture. The story as the graphics are not spectacular but it is a cheap game with a very fresh and original proposal that is particularly satisfying.
ONENELLEMOO is a free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a paid product, as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a badly made and badly translated JRPG looking 2D retro pixel "adventure" game where you need to use your wits to defeat some monsters, but if you're using your wits, you'd never pay cash money for a free garbage tier mobile app on Steam. From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the mobile app unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. PC gamers will be insulted by the demand from the developer that a console peasant children's toy controller should be used, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for, and must never, under any circumstances dictate to gamers how their games are to be experienced. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected. So, should you buy this mobile app? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this mobile app as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the mobile app (to date). Until this status changes, this mobile app will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this mobile app.
Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $4 USD, on app stores, it's free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this can be played free elsewhere, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. FOUR BUCKS FOR A FREE MOBILE APP. Who do they think we are?
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
Here's a confronting admission... the developer admits to predatory pricing for mobile gamers with bloated, pointless DLC and clickbait marketing... now, I'm an advocate for PC gamers and I've already explained why the developers insulting pricing isn't acceptable on PC. But the admission they also try to screw over mobile gamers just cements the position here, you can see who we're dealing with. When confronted with this dismal attitude from mobile app developers like this, it's absolutely clear why nobody should waste their money on their shoddy mobile apps on PC. The developer pretends that people actually bothered playing this game, but that doesn't fit with the SteamDB data that shows a peak concurrent player count of only 2. It doesn't matter when considering this mobile app how well it performed on mobile app stores (relatively badly, in fact, while the developer seems to think those numbers are impressive, they aren't in the wider context of mobile gaming, but this is irrelevant). Flappy Bird, for crying out loud, was popular on mobile apps. And the developer here, therefore, seems to think he can shove something less popular than Flappy Bird down people's throats. The developer demands that PC gamers overwhelmingly rejected this trash mobile app because of marketing, and not because it's an objectively garbage product trying to compete on the same platform as Red Dead Redemption 2, The Witcher 3 and Grand Theft Auto V. What a joke! Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.

Creative and fun. This game is a top down zelda like by a single dev. They really have a good basis for something special here with some puzzles that force you to understand the systems. If you like tricky puzzle platformers then I recommend giving this a shot as it's a wonderful first game.
Amazing game! It's great that the puzzle and action are well combined. It's a lot of fun, so be sure to play it!
+ is positive = is nuetral - is negative = ONENELLEMOO is fairly priced, at 5$ for about 4 hours of gameplay + There are numerous signs and tips to prevent the player from getting stuck, which is usually the main issue of all RPGS i have ever played. + puzzles are really unique and intricate, most of them make a lot of sense but still require brain power. + Puzzles dont require you to backtrack 24/7 like in most rpgs, idk y so many people have back tracking when it ruins so many rpgs. - There are a lot of bugs, some of them are funny, some of them are stupid, most of the bugs i encountered amazingly where in ONE area involving 6 armored moshins, it was actually really silly. 1. the moshins did a full 90 degree turn when i hid behind a tree. 2. the moshins walked around a slime puddle i placed. 3. i thought i could outrun the moshins but one of them suddenly gained like triple speed and MAULED me. 4. At one point all the moshins stopped moving, so i carefully walked up to one, touched it, and immediately fell over and died. 5. one of the moshins ran me over while i was reading a sign, I did but was able to read the rest of the sign because apparently death is patient to people appreciating literature. 6. finally, one of the moshins did a full 360 when i tried to run past it, while maintaining its 100mph sprint. Over all this was silly but not horrible - The VERY last puzzle is confusing, and without asking the dev for help i wouldnt have figured it out. - English translations are poor, still legible, but poor. - The protagonist is horrible, hes best compared to undertale genocide route. He slaughters all the monsters with 0 remorse. = other than Brabradow, all of the character are really flat and forgettable. + each fight does indeed take advantage of enemy abilities in the same way that is described in the trailer. Over all, ONENELLEMOO is a solid RPG.
