cool but dead
Basically a make your own text adventure. Sucks that it's abandonware though, and the discord server is as dead as a cemetery. I haven't seen any particularly impressive stories on the workshop, but it's fun to kick some ideas around and write a bit. Very nice perk that it's free.
You should play this. Just saying. It's free anyway.

Very cooi
This is an incredible game-making and game-finding platform. I really enjoy making my own scrolling text stories/adventures, and playing ones made by other people. I highly recommend this game to anyone wanting to have a good time.
23 minutes is not a good number to pass judgement but here goes: I recommend this game because even with it's current state, it's very very V E R Y promising. It's visual and sound design are very enjoyable, and the community writing adventures is lovable and goofy. A very good game to install if you want to get into text adventures, but have problems with engines like Quest. There is a big, glaring flaw with One Synth, however; it's not very clear on whether it wants to be a beautifully designed adventure creator, or a heavily stylized adventure creator sim game , like HackNet. To learn what you can do you have to go out of your way and reverse engineer examples. And being designed with more of the second idea in mind, it's very limited compared to "formal" text adventure engines. 7 out of an arbitrary number, a pinch of elbow grease will polish this to a mirror sheen
This is a pretty cool idea. Nice introduction to text based adventures without the need to get too deep into programming. Might be a good way to inspire people to make their own games.
