By far better than the previous iteration. Enjoyable combo mechanics, skills and soul bonuses, variety of characters. Just wish the game didn't skip so many arcs in the story mode since playing those out is a big part of the fun and having the characters not as DLC would be way more enjoyable, or at least on reasonable prices (which they aren't since most of the DLCs are just characters and not that much more new content (They do go on sale, and that's when u'd want to get some of them). But other than that, honestly very enjoyable game with lots of content and fulfills its duty as a OP hack and slash where u get to fullfill the powerfantasy of most your favorite characters. Roughly a 8.5/10
