Having trouble just getting into the game. In what I'll call the tutorial right after the game starts, the first password cracking minigame is solved by mashing letters on the keyboard, and the second password cracking minigame is often not solvable even given perfect play. I ragequit the game once after repeatedly failing the larger, faster versions of the second challenge, started again, and ragequit again. If that's the standard for engagement required and fun to be had in this game, I've no shortage of better ones.
Story line is outstanding, well developed and catchy, while playing you get lost while tring to own the world! It's worth playing, with better visuals this game is in my top 5, don't be afraid to play totaly a nice game to play!!
I quite like the game in the sense that its retro graphics are easy to understand and use. It is better to focus on the strategy instead of the user interface. What I enjoyed playing with the most was the stock market. I know that we are in this game from the perspective of the AI but it could be fun to explore the stock market with creating new companies etc. I played for couple of hours I had an enjoyable time. My only suggestion may be having mini games related to the main game, or more mini games. I could suggest the mini game logic of Bioshock (trying to find a passage for the pipes for hacking machines). Although it is the same mini game all the time, it has the stress and fun factor so it never gets to be monotounus. Looking forward to new updates!
It is a higly adictive game in the sense that when you start it you keep saying to yourself, now I am going to turn it off. But you find yourself keep playing it.
The gameplay loop is pretty meh and the UI is clunky
Edit: I started playing this just two days before my mother passed and forgot to correct that it was 'supposed' to crash! Its quite easy to get it working on a modern machine so long as you install the correct Java runtime, run the res at 1080p when possible and try not to use the mouse wheel to zoom. And upon start-up, his impressive coding picks up perfectly that I'm running on Windows 11 and its at version 10.0. A silly little detail, but this had a lot of potential and i hope he makes another one! Well, i was enjoying it.. Until it crashed with a black screen for no reason and i had to quit it, having not saved soon enough lost half an hours progress.. So not very impressed. Hard to recommend a game that crashes suddenly for no reason nor explanation!
you can hack the world but you cant hack your depression
Great idea ! Totally recommend it
