I had this game in my sights since 2018, got around buying it in 2021 and finally got aorund playing it this month. I ended loving it, the character designs, the fleet-based gameplay and the simple but cute story.
Wonderful game. Deep story and interesting choices. Unique combination of game genres.
So after playing it in EA I finally came back to it and finished the story, overall I can say I enjoyed it and so I can give it my recommendation. To make it short, the art is good, the music as well with some of the tracks I like quite a bit. The gameplay/story has been well implemented, though I would have liked a "deploy all" button. The story is a nice read with my only issue being a jump from one scene to another that happens later in the story that is not that well explained.
One a side note, for some reason I can not see the store page anymore in my country(Germany).
Nunca joguei nada tão ruim na minha vida
It's ok!
This is a very interesting game with their very own Manga! Apart of that, the game use a old school ship fighting game style with the plus of a great plot with some rogue-like components and a wide variety of ships to morph (play and you will understand). It's still in early access so the full potential is yet to come but the idea and work is there. The art and characters aestetics are beautiful Recommended and rooting for the complete version
The art is pretty and the gameplay seems to have a bit of depth to it. The writing leaves a bit to be desired, and the plot didn't hook me from the start, so I don't plan on continuing, but I could see a sci-fi fan loving it!
good game
Rating: ★★★☆☆ (You can add a star if you like Visual Novels) ============ Review: Omni Link is essentially a hybrid of two genres - Oldschool 2D space shooter and a Visual Novel. But well.. it's mostly a Visual Novel, with a little space shooting. I usually don't play Visual Novels, and I don't really like them much. So I wish this was more of a space shooter and less of a Visual Novel, but it works surprisingly well like this anyway. It's very story focused, since it's a VN. And I kinda think I played the space part a bit "wrong". The idea is that you got this awesome high-tech ship that can change forms and create a fleet (AI controls the other ships) While you just fly one ship, old school. There are big fleet battles and all, and it's obviously designed that you summon those AI ships. But I tend to just fly solo and kill everything myself (Played on Hard, didn't try Extreme) - so I think I didn't experience the game as it was meant. But the space shooter was just the side dish anyway, so it probably doesn't matter much. ============ The Visual Novel part of the game is pretty good too. I liked the story, the art is beautiful and the music was great, too. But like I said before, I don't really like Visual Novels, they're just not my cup of tea. If you like Visual Novels, you probably get a lot more out of this game than me. It's a pretty short game and that's the way I like it. It's possible to get every achievement in 10 hours (or less). If you can't stand Visual Novels, then do yourself a favor and skip this. But if you like Visual Novels, and like doing a little old school flying, then get this on sale. ============ Summary: The Good 👍 + Beautiful art + Good music + Good length The Bad 👎 - Visual Novels are not for everyone - Should have more space shooter parts
Good Story, good music. "One of Best Visual Novels i played"
