just complete the current version taking around five hours to do. the art and music is fantastic. the ship combat is great. only problem when you lose one of the ships that you cant buy there gone and can get it back. the characters amazing. and i know its not finsihed but the only major problem is getting more ships,a few typos and the rumor options. wish there was more in it but il just have to wait. il be looking forward to the rest of the story .
Omni Link is an great game with a good main story. You need to choose some choices but they don't have big influences in the story right now. The story is beautiful designed but it needs more quests and side stories. Right now you nearly jumping from one mission to the next.
To the story: You are Keb somehow the destiny drives you to meet "Dawn" a kind of Cyborg/AI that will change your whole life you meet dangerous troubles, pepoal and new allies. What will the future hold up for you ? Will you change the fate of the galaxy ?
The Spaceships are interesting designed some even have cool special features, but the controls isn't that smooth as it should be. Sometimes im asking myself why does AI doing a better job in spacefights than the player. The world looks a bit empty there should be more random events and more different spaceships. If you playing on the now highest degree of difficulty, it's still a bit too easy but with some adjustments it could be heavier. Sound designing is good but sometimes it could happen that there is no music nor sound and only after a few minutes it switches on again. I recommend it for the kind of player that wants to have a great main story. If you still unsure follow this product or buy it in a sale. [7.8/10] Points
[strike]Something i would like to have as DLC is the song in the Trailer with all soundtracks and the art book.(Share your opinion in the comments if you like)[/strike]
Nice game! Any news about updates or continued?
Omni Link is a amazing sci-fi visual novel with a great story. Its filled with many intense action packed and tear jerker moments. Furthermore, the gameplay portion of the game is really helps accent the story. The difficulty of the combat is rather simple so you wont really have much difficulties going through it but the atmosphere it produces really helps improve the atmosphere. Overall, this is a purchase you wont regret! Note: this game does have a few bugs here and there notably one that crashes the game every half an hour to an hour of gameplay but the game is still excellent regardless and the developer is great, really communicates with the player base to answer questions you may have and also constantly working on parts of the game that may need fixing.
Great arts and great music... But, I don't like that Keb has initial attraction towards all three girls and all the girls love him... I wish at least the player could choose whom they attract to...even you only got two options.
Gameplay of Omni Link is quite the mixure of feelings. Movement and shooting are not that bad, but also not good enough to bring enjoyement to the process. Morph ability and own fleet are fun though. UI is fine, but not enough informative. Space itself, ship desings, stations and warp gates are on better side, and they work on the vibe quite well. Visual novel is what really picks the interest and keeps it until the very end. Good writing, memorable characters, beautiful art and music, songs are on their own level (real pleasure to the ears). And those manga pictures, great addition. Made with soul and it feels so. Now then, time to look for soundtrack.
Volume is controlled by windows volume mixer. No controller options. No mouse control for that matter either. This is a poor visual novel with a bad shoot 'em up bolted on. Ships handle like an elephant on roller skates.
I'm leaving a soft "no" for now due to the multitude of spelling/grammar issues I've come across without being too far into the game yet. Really needs a good proofreading. I commented in the bug thread in the discussions long ago with some appropriate fixes, and it doesn't seem like they were implemented so not sure what the blocker is. If the game got a solid spellcheck, I don't think I'd have any other complaints. Really enjoying the story itself so far.
This game may be small, but it is, without a doubt excellent. The story and characters caught my attention swiftly, the sound track, while not expansive, is also beautiful. After finishing the game, I found myself wanting to dive back in to play different paths and take note of subtle details I missed the first time through. It's a little like watching Memento or Primer in that, once you get to the end, you're like, "Oh ♥♥♥♥! How many subtle details did I miss???" Definitely recommend.
This is a little bit of a mixed review as there is a lot to love about the game and a few things that could have been implimented better. First up the story is a little confusing in places and the save system could have been better. Gameplay I finished in about 15 hours so for me is somewhat disappointing as I wanted it to go on. There isnt also much depth to the game sadly either. On the big plus side the story is where the game shines and the characters are really well done and feel like you can connect to them. I often found myself laughing or smiling at things and the game really does well at drawing you into the characters. I do wish there had been more choices though and too few oppertunities to influence that. The controls are easy and simple to use although I do wish for an ingame pause and the lack of options like sound or screen res isnt a big issue but should have been implimented. Like I said a mixed review but on sale def get it. I only wish it had been longer and hope for a sequel but sadly I cant see that happening.
