剧情丰富,量大管饱。JRPG史诗和艺术品的完美结合。
Octopath Traveler series has officially surpassed the recent Final Fantasy games! Story: Story is based on YOU (customized character), and the party are far more connected than OT1 and OT2 and the world building is HUGE and VERY DARK! Visuals: 2D-HD pixels, less is more, vibrant and the camera work is amazing Combat: Up to you to play it simple or go deep with party building with skills and equipment! Music: This OST could be equal if not better than Octopath Traveler 2, go listen to DECSIIVE BATTLE 0! Voice Acting: TOP NOTCH! No Spoiler but certain characters in ENG VA have a killer voice acting going on that makes those characters SHINE! Overall this game is is very rich in lore, visually great, audibly amazing and combat with 8 characters in a battle, you can mix and match how you play and progress. I HIGHLY SUGGEST BUYING THIS GAME one of Square Enix's very few rare gems as of late!
I've played OT1 & OT2. So far this is just like those. If you like pixelated RPG's with light stories and good turn based combat, you'll probably enjoy this.
Such a great and engaging game!
HHHHH
É Octopath
Overall, Thumbs up for: Amazing value (100+ hours of main story content) Excellent soundtrack and visuals, some of the pixel art is phenomenal. Good JRPG turn-based battle system with lots of meaningful customization All cutscenes, with the exception of party chat, are voice acted. Detractors for consideration: The writing is mediocre at best. This applies to both the main story and the characters. Silent protagonists DON'T WORK in a story-heavy game. Characters in the story will interact with you in the form of tedious monologues. This is a significant step backwards from the first two games, which, by the way, weren't storytelling masterpieces in the first place. The town building feature was implemented poorly. Very important features are locked to the post-game content, <spoiler>like relocating certain facilities, removing bushes, etc. In fact, some things like bridges and slopes can't be adjusted at all.</spoiler> The length of the main story could be considered a detractor in this case. I would say that the strongest part of the story is the first 40-ish hours, and it gradually gets more and more tedious and introduces more and more obnoxious characters as time goes on. It's fine for what it is, but I guarantee you I'll forget almost all of it. I'll say this- the game offers several "endings" along the main story route, and It'd be fine to conclude at any of those stopping points. Maybe consider stopping if you're starting to get bored, instead of forcing it to the end like I did.
This game keeps a lot of what I liked about Octopath. Plus, I like games like Dark Cloud, so the town building mechanics are fun so far. I'm also digging the double rows of fighters, although I'm still learning how to properly use them. The bosses aren't quite as hard as the first game, but I'm still earlier levels (about 20) so that might change when I get into the game a little more. I loved the multiple origins of the original game, but having to basically "start over" with a new character 8x in one RPG was a bit much, so I'm not mad about the single protagonist. I've seen a lot of complaints that this makes the companion characters less relatable b/c you don't get into their story as much, which I think is valid critique, but the game's so fun to play regardless that it's not a deal breaker for me. And as always...dat soundtrack
结局真不错
