Used to play the game before it got ported to steam on mobile and It's still fun. my enjoyment is definitely handicapped by the fact that the game still only allows for one on one multiplayer. The game becomes much more interesting with 3 to 4 players hence why it's a shame they never looked into working on that but i guess trying to get that to work must've been too difficult.

First: It's buggy and predictable. It crashes and/or freezes. It only has 1v1, and none of the promo cards are in it (or, as of writing this review, available for purchase). Second: It's still a computer adaptation for the game, one that I play often (most often on my "phone version", for the ability to do so while waiting for the bus, etc). It's always fun to get a quick game of Oceans in, even with it's flaws. ... I wish mixed reviews were possible. IF you like the physical game, I suggest you get this and give it a go. Quite enjoyable. Flawed? Yes. But enjoyable. If you don't have the physical game, take this review with a grain of salt. The actual game is VERY fun... So please, don't let this digital version diminish your opinion of it.

The game is great. It's a nice engine builder. The easy mode is really easy making it worth buying the complete game BUT it keeps on crashing when playing with the medium difficulty AI on my computer. Hope they fix this issue if not I might have to change my rating.
AI crashes
This is a gorgeous board game and a lot of fun. Some of the fun is different - not worse, just different - in an online medium, but I don't have any particular complaints.

Reluctant thumbs up. It's fun, highly tactical, lots of angles to approach strategy and of course badass being able to build your own tusked parasitic waterbears or venemous electric micro-manatees, but if youre planning on playing solo mostly and looking for a particularly challenging experience, this will at some point grow to become a disappointment after you get the hang of it. I almost never lose to the AI on the hardest setting at this point, and in fact usually crush it mercilessly, and tbh im not a standout whiz at card games. There was a good little stretch at the beginning though where it felt more challenging. Also there usually isnt anyone playing multiplayer, so chances are youll be going against AI. I would recommend this game largely to anyone who is is newer to card battling games or doesnt mind the eventual easiness, or has a buddy you can convince to get it too and go head to head with. I have the physical game as well and it's a gem, but this digital implementation really needs a more challenging/higher tier AI mode.
