Self competing I love this app. I miss seeing my average after completing the large crossword. Otherwise loving it.
Perfect App I play daily. It’s great for passing time on the commute or while waiting. Started as a complete newbie but can now solve most puzzles. Fun to do, and I learn something, too. My only quibble is that the developers recently changed it so that you can’t open the daily crossword column and swipe between the puzzle and the column. You have to keep opening and closing the column to get back to the puzzle, which is a little annoying.
No money,no honey So you won’t let us folks with older devices play anymore. Your values are peeking though! Shame on you for neglecting your elders!
Was Wonderful, But… I love these games and play them every day. But you’ve added some totally unnecessary prompts with this last update. Please do not ask me if I really want to see a word or square after I’ve already answered that. You do not need to ask me every time! It is very annoying. I am happy to change this review if you are willing to remove this latest bothersome prompt.
App Keeps Asking For a Review The app keeps prompting me for a review after every crossword I solve in the archive (and now even after the daily puzzles!), regardless of whether I’ve left a review in the past. If you want my review so badly, I’ll give it to you … one star solely because of this problem. Good day to you.
Stop asking me for a review every time I play I love the NYT puzzles. But I am tired of being asked to submit a review every time I play. I hit 5 stars the first 15 times I was asked but got tired of being asked. I will be submitting 1 star reviews until this is resolved. Not because the games are bad- they are awesome. Which I said 15 times but you still keep asking…
Aggravated I am so frustrated by this app. I have enjoyed the NYT games for several years. However this app shuts down constantly. I have tried deleting and reinstalling, shutting down my device and restarting, nothing helps. I’m about to give up.
Update Please stop asking if I'm sure I want to reveal a square or word after the first time. Put crosswords back at the top of the app.
Constant Crashes I’ve been doing the daily crossword for at least six years now, and the app never had any issues until recently. Now, input cant keep up and the app crashes constantly in the middle of a solve. This is either due to ineptitude or the result of forcing AI slop into the codebase in order to “go faster.” Either way, the product is objectively worse than it was three months ago. Please right the ship, because the current state of the app is embarrassing.
Great Works good!
