Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate.

Stats
How fast this game is gaining ratings — the activity signal available where a store publishes no sales or install numbers.
Measured from our own daily snapshots, not reported by the store. Deliberately not converted into sales: a one-tap rating's ratio to copies sold is unknown on this platform, and guessing it would be worse than leaving it out.
Sums Google Play only; App Store publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Crashes constantly App crashes constantly of late, on iPad
Unreadable clues The new dark blue background for the crossword clues on the iPad version makes them extremely hard to read. There’s simply not enough contrast. Please go back to a lighter blue so we can actually read the clues.
Fix the highlight color, please! I love the puzzles but recently, the color of the clue highlight has changed to a darker shade of blue that makes it difficult for this vision-impaired player to read. Please change it back to the light blue.
Fixes Please fix the dictionary. It is full of errors and omissions. Get each game visually consistent on the start page including link to archives and successful scores from the users day. Don’t let the winning sudoko sound cut off any background audio with its chime. Just strip it since there is no congratulatory music for any of the games. Then users won’t have to leave the nyt app to turn their music or audiobook back on.
shame App runs slower than my grandma. NYT keeps paywalling games so only half are available.
Games I enjoy the Connections, the Crossword and Wordle with my morning coffee. A great way to start my day
App closes constantly NY Times Games app closes five or six times in the course of a puzzle on my and my wife’s brand new iPads. Unacceptable!
Buggy! Crashes many times per puzzle: distracting and frustrating
Can not update Why and when are you fixing this issue
Keeps crashing Was great, until the crosswords started crashing 5-10 times per puzzle.
