Nice game!! :) indonesia bingits...
Very cool game! I like playing survival games, especially the calm ones like this. I bought it from the bundle, and when I played it, I was surprised what a steal. So lucky at that time, I decided to buy a bundle that had this game in it!
A surprisingly good game. While this may seem like your typical RPG Maker title it has so much polish done you barley notice it. As the store description says you play as a 'tourist' on a tropical like island. The game is a mix of JRPG and sim dating, in a sort of modern themed setting. People that have played a JRPG before will feel at home. Enemy's can be seen on the 'world map' and can be evaded by redirecting your character. Battles are fought in a traditional turn base system. You are only allowed to field 1 additional companion in battle but you can have up to 2 extra for support. The artwork is simple, but nice and consistent. The battlers for the player and companions are actually animated which shows a real commitment to break out of the RPG Maker mold. The developers definitely put a fair amount of their own artwork into this game which gives it a unique feel. Music is another selling point for this game. It has an indie folk feeling to it which meshes well with the setting and narrative. The gameplay is a mixed bag and kind of where things go a bit off the rails. I'll break this down into a few bullet points: -Survival mechanics: while not bad in it of itself it kind of feels out of place for a game that is focused on relaxation in its theme. -Time constraints: the game has a time limit and managing time can be very brutal for a new player that doesn't know the lay of the land. The mechanics that progress time can be aggravating depending where you have to travel. -Severe punishment for loosing a battle: again, not a bad mechanic in itself but conflicts with the laid back nature this game is trying to convey -Factions and bounty system: there are multiple factions in this game and completing RNG quest can give you money and reputation. The main issue with this system is it's very RNG based and you will often be presented with a quest that will want you to access an area that is way beyond your character level. Also if the quest is late, you are docked payment. As I said previously, this conflicts with the laid back nature the theme is trying to convey. None of these mechanics are bad, they just don't feel like they belong in a game with this kind theme. So if you intend to chill on a peaceful tropical island while fishing and chasing fish themed wifus, this game is not going to let you do that..... Unless you play on easy mode. The relationship mechanics are kind of straight forward, having gifting and talking to gain points with X per day limits. You can also gain or loose relationship points with active party members depending if you release or keep the fish you catch. I kind of have mixed feeling about how relationships are handled in this game. Like in many sim date type games you are only allowed to 'marry' one at the end. For some game types, like simulation this isn't that big of a deal as gamplay is varied enough, has sufficient story derivatives and is generally geared to multiple play-throughs to warrant spending the time to unlock most/all endings. I really like Nusakana but I don't think I have the gusto to do a 3ed play-through. This is one of those stories that I feel would really benefit from a harem ending or at lest make the ending modular to include the routs you unlocked. The fishing mini game is kind of clunky and un-intuitive, but is sort of a given considering the engine they are using. The story is nice and very 'folk tale' leaning in its overall theme. Some of the NPC's talk in an intentional engrish fashion to sell the point that you are on a foreign island. However the engrish is unintentional at times as the developers are not native English speakers. This can lead to confusion on what to do next as the editing isn't all that great. So is this game worth it? YES! Despite its rough edges this game is filled with charm and is well worth it!

Really good jrpg for a small company. I think the game should let you make your own character. It feels more of an rpg when you have control of the character's background. Other than that everything else is amazing. Combat system is not the best, but is simple to learn. Fishing can be tiring but is rewarding with patience. The story is probably the best part of the game. I like the mystery behind the letter that has been sent to you. I want spoil anymore info. That's for you to discover if you choose to purchase Nusakana :)
