[strike] Are you sure you've uploaded the right version of the game onto Steam? The main menu says v0.1 instead of v1.0 and none of the character sprite loads up at all - this is probably an honest mistake but if nothing changed I'm going to refund this over the weekends.[/strike] Update: Now that the game is now actually playable, so time for a re-review: - There are 4 routes in total AFAIK: 1 default ending with the rest being character-specifics. - The story are a bit short (you should be able to complete all routes with all CGs unlocked around an hour mark), no dumb puzzle in-game so this might be a plus. - The game surprisingly came with animated scene for "those" moments, around 3 of those scenes per character. One of which is even unlocked before you got to make any decision in-game at all. My only complain is that I wish this could've been a bit longer, but I'll keep what I got.
a good Visual Novel. I recommend it. some answer options to choose. some girls wearing supercool clothes. some sex scenes. everything is uncensored, what do you want more. graphic is good. the price of this short game is in offer for -50% alright.

Very good VN with a good amount of adult stuff in it. A bit short but that´s okay because it´s very well written and the art is beautiful. One path even gave me vibes from "Acting Lessons" (which is a good thing).
Nurse Me! is a straightforward, character-focused visual novel that leans heavily into romantic fantasy and light, choice-driven storytelling, continuing the familiar design approach seen across Dharker Studios’ catalog. It opens with a simple but effective setup: the protagonist collapses from exhaustion and wakes up in a hospital, only to find himself surrounded by a small cast of women who quickly become the center of his recovery—and the narrative itself. The premise is intentionally uncomplicated, acting as a framework for a series of interactions that prioritize personal connection and escapism over plot complexity or realism. The story unfolds through branching dialogue sequences where player choices determine which character routes develop and how the narrative concludes. Each major character represents a distinct path, offering different tones and relationship dynamics, from caring and gentle to more assertive or playful personalities. These routes provide some variety and encourage multiple playthroughs, but they are ultimately variations on the same central scenario rather than dramatically different storylines. The structure is easy to follow and accessible, though it doesn’t offer the kind of layered or interconnected storytelling that might create a stronger sense of narrative depth. Character interaction is clearly the primary focus, and the game invests most of its energy into making these exchanges engaging and immediate. Dialogue tends to move quickly, often emphasizing attraction, light emotional tension, and situational humor. While this keeps the pacing brisk and approachable, it also means that character development remains relatively shallow. Relationships progress quickly, and while each character has a distinct personality, there is limited exploration of their backgrounds or growth over time. The experience is designed to be engaging in the moment rather than deeply reflective. Visually, the game is consistent with Dharker Studios’ established style. Character artwork is clean and appealing, with detailed CG scenes used to highlight key moments in each route. These visuals act as the main reward for progression, reinforcing the importance of character interaction within the overall experience. Backgrounds and environmental elements are minimal and largely serve as a backdrop for the characters rather than as spaces to explore. The hospital setting itself is more thematic than immersive, functioning as a convenient narrative device rather than a fully realized environment. In terms of gameplay, Nurse Me! is extremely light. Interaction is limited to advancing text and making occasional decisions, with no additional systems or mechanics to engage with. There are no puzzles, no branching systems beyond dialogue choices, and no challenges that require active problem-solving. This makes the game very easy to approach and suitable for short sessions, but it also results in a largely passive experience. Engagement depends almost entirely on the player’s interest in the characters and the unfolding relationships. The tone is strongly shaped by its mature and suggestive content, which is integrated into each route and serves as a central component of the experience. These elements are not presented as optional additions but as key moments that define the progression of each storyline. For players who are specifically looking for this type of content, the game delivers it in a clear and consistent way. For others, the emphasis may feel limiting, as it leaves little room for more nuanced storytelling or thematic exploration. Pacing is relatively fast, with individual playthroughs often completed in a short amount of time. This makes it easy to revisit the game and explore different endings, but it also contributes to a sense of brevity that can make the experience feel somewhat lightweight. Even when pursuing all available routes, the overall structure remains consistent, and the repetition of the core setup becomes more noticeable. Replay value exists, but it is driven more by completionism than by significantly different gameplay experiences. What ultimately defines Nurse Me! is its focus and simplicity. It doesn’t attempt to push the boundaries of the visual novel genre or introduce new mechanics, instead delivering a clear, contained experience that aligns with its intended audience. This gives it a certain consistency and accessibility, but it also prevents it from standing out in a meaningful way. It feels less like a fully developed narrative and more like a collection of short, character-driven scenarios connected by a shared premise. In the end, Nurse Me! offers a clean and easy-to-consume visual novel experience that works best in short sessions. It succeeds in presenting appealing characters, multiple endings, and a straightforward branching structure, but it remains limited by its lack of depth, minimal interactivity, and reliance on familiar tropes. For players who enjoy simple, romance-focused visual novels with light choice mechanics, it provides a modest but enjoyable experience, though it is unlikely to leave a lasting impression beyond its immediate appeal.
