About
nurny battles HD is a little indie PvP auto battler with pre-rendered 3d visuals and gimmicky characters that can be played ONLINE or locally. Every character is fully uniquely programmed so that they all function differently (not counting upgraded fusion forms of the same character), and none are redundant in niche. It's quality over quantity. Every nurny can sometimes be viable (or terrible) depending on the situation. Also, there are very few 'industry plant' synergies where things are just lazily hard coded to gain +20% attack while used with something else or whatever, synergies come naturally from the interactions between different abilities that inherently work well together.
the main versus mode has you and your opponent progressively upgrade your teams side-by-side to counter each other, so building a good team is less about just working well in a vacuum, and more about beating the specific things you've been fighting against so far. Characters can interact with allies just as much as with their enemies, making machine-like setups with emergent interactions.
it has no live input during battles, so it can be played perfectly fine if you don't have a good reaction time, have a poor internet connection that causes lag or delay in most games, or if you have a physical disability. you can even play the game online in a way with someone who doesn't own it. Stream your screen to them, going to local versus instead of the nurnynet, and just letting them tell you where to place their units for them, like 'gluey louie to E4.'
the game is mostly meant to be a fun thing to mess around in with someone else, it's PvP, not singleplayer. there is a pretty active discord server where you can play the game with random people if you don't know anyone who plays the game yet, though. you can customize your own nurny, background, and a TV broadcast in-game, and there's random round phenomena that just derail matches sometimes because i think it's funny

by the way, you're always set to play the stable version by default, which is older but more tested. however, you can opt-in to the experimental steam branch at any time to play newer updates early, at the cost that they're not finished being tested and de-bugged. if you ever wish the game had more updates, switch to experimental if the current one isn't in a buggy state (or report those bugs if it is and then they can be fixed sooner and that update can be pushed out as stable for everyone)

Reviews
Wacky graphics but solid gameplay and really fun if you have someone to play it with. It even has customisation options like you can change the backround and everything
cute and interesting
What the hell am I playing?
Nurny battles is the best game I love Peach Cobbler and Stairway to Flordia :)
you can do so much stupid stuff in this game its awesome
Normally autobattlers aren't really my thing but this one is genuinely really fun. The game is very lighthearted and aimed at friends fooling around with each other. The dev is active and the community is large enough to find games. The strategy goes a lot deeper than it seems on the surface. Lots of random fun stuff and easter eggs. Nurny battles my beloved :3
This game changed my life. We no longer have further need for any other competitive game. Just the raw hype and strategy of Nurny Battles, with the emotional voice acting performances to the iconic characters that will change the way you look at fiction as you know it, such as the Horse Slapper and Taxi Service. Geoff Keighley should've announced this instead of Highguard. 10/10 I can even set the background JPG to the Waffle House Parking lot so it already is better than Tekken, the stage variety is infinite.
Very strange game, really fun strategy and I'd imagine there's lot of updates in the future this can only get more in-depth and very unique design. 9/10.
I love this game. It is unlike anything else in the auto battler genre, feeling more like a game of chess. The menu seems overwhelming but it was fast and easy to learn. My only wish is that blender had a menu somewhere for easy access to view combinations, cuz currently blender seems impossible to learn with the low player base
This game is surprisingly well done. At first I thought it was going to be another random slop funny meme game, but it turned out to be a ton of fun with friends. The dev is super friendly too and even joined our discord to play matches with us. <3 10/10
