About
Nuktedan is a small bird. He doesn't remember the shape of the cliff. He doesn't remember falling. But it hurts.
Nuktedan's world was once full of color. Now it is black and white. Because every color was a memory — and Alzheimer's took them, one by one. The memories are gone. But every memory left a trace — and those traces became puzzles. You can follow them.
The core mechanic is simple: guide a laser to a cube. But the path is never simple. Every emotion you gain is not just a memory — it becomes a tool. When yellow arrives, you can rewind time. When blue arrives, you fade into shadow. When red arrives, you tear down the wall ahead. Every emotion opens a new way to see the world — and some puzzles can only be solved when you feel the right thing.

A short but genuinely memorable game. I really liked how it uses colors not just as a visual element, but connects them to emotions and gameplay mechanics. Unlocking new abilities as the puzzles progress also keeps the gameplay feeling fresh. The way the story connects memory, emotions, and colors through Alzheimer's was especially more impactful than I expected. The atmosphere, music, and visual style all complement each other really well. It only takes a few hours to finish, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different.
Nuktedan is a genuinely promising indie project with a very charming core idea. I especially liked how it uses colors to represent emotions and turns that concept into both its atmosphere and puzzle mechanics. The game ran smoothly for me, the soundtrack fits the mood well, and there are some creative ideas here that made the experience memorable. There are still a few areas that could use more polish, especially in terms of visual consistency, UI, and the pacing of some puzzles. At times, different parts of the art direction feel like they belong to slightly different games, and a few mechanics could feel a bit more responsive. None of these issues ruined the experience for me, though; they mostly made me think about how much stronger the game could become with further refinement. Overall, Nuktedan feels like a project with a lot of heart and potential behind it. It already has a distinct concept and some genuinely good ideas, and I'm curious to see how it evolves from here. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.
