Noun Town: Learn & Chill

A simple SRS game that I can use to learn 886 French words (with the caveat that some of these might just be numbers). The other languages are Spanish (x2), German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Greek, Arabic, and English. You can switch between them instantly. I'm not new to video games, but what I'd actually really appreciate here is a little tutorial explaining what the different options mean or how the game works, because it can feel a little vague. Toggling some of the different options doesn't seem to noticeably change anything (for example, "Learn Words 2x"). Also, Rapid Learning mode might be broken, as it still suggests review words I haven't actually learnt yet, even after learning 10+ words. I'm also confused why not every new word has a 3D image to go with it, but Rapid Learning does. And why do random vocabulary words like "le lexibot" appear? It makes me wish there was a way to toggle which words are included in reviews. The music was the big selling point for me because I love lo-fi, and I was excited to hear the soundtrack while idling. But I think some of the music is a little weak and, instead of becoming chill background noise, it can end up feeling a little heavy and repetitive compared to typical lofi-beats, especially early on with limited options. I think the radio could be improved by separating tracks into genres, and maybe adding short previews so you don't unlock something you don't actually like and end up skipping constantly. But I'd recommend this, especially if you're starting any language. SRS is essential for language learning, and this is an easy tool to use, approachable way to build a habit to review vocabulary, that has plenty of room to improve in the future. At this price, I think it's definitely worth it. Hopefully the devs improve some of the little kinks in the future and expand on the content. Also I don't own the other Noun Town game so I can't comment on how it links to it, but I'm assuming it's a more complete experience. :)
