About
DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT LIKE NARRATIVE GAMES

NOT FOR YOU is an album of short, narrative experiences, which you can play through in any order you would like. Each one delves further into the thoughts and feelings of the games developer, Thomas Hunt, and the struggle that is the video game industry.

Founder of award-winning indie studio InkForge Studios, Thomas Hunt is just another developer, making just another game. What makes him any different from the 100 other developers out there? Nothing. Apart from a great sense of humor of course. (This is written by Thomas, if that wasn't clear already).
Look this description is getting too long already. I COULD sit here and tell you about the socio-political skateboarding cow, but where would be the fun in that. Play the game, or don't. It's your decision, and after all, its NOT FOR YOU.

Please do not sexualize Grey Box Man. Grey Box Man is pure, Grey Box Man is wholesome. He does not need your degeneracy right now.
Not For You is a special case of game, where it doesn't matter the quality, or the content you play through, but more so the message it carries. Despite the title of the game, I'd say that it can very well be related to in more ways than one. In the world we live in today, the biggest question most people ask themselves is about their legacy, and what road we will choose to roam. Our stories, despite being different, all come from the same desire to leave a lasting impact on the world around us. Creatives are what keep the planet spinning, and games like this are proof that we all have a common goal. I may just be a random reviewer, but I respect the work you put in. And I think you should be proud of what you've accomplished. 10/10

The title is right and that's probably the best part. Feels very personal like looking into someone else's head
11/\10 That's it. I'm starting the fandom. If you're after graphics, or maybe gameplay, this really is "Not for you," but if you're after a story, then it is. The game isn't that long, since you can complete it in under an hour and get all the achievements. Each story was great. I'm not a person who cries a lot, but I ended up tearing up from the clock game. The game has subtitles (except for a few parts in the boxman game) and while it does say controller recommended (which I did borrow for this), it didn't seem like it was necessary. As much as I am praising the game, I will admit there are a few bugs. The only ones I've seen are in the boxman game with falling through the map (it did happen to me, and I had to restart because of it.) I found the hidden minigame, though it isn't much of a game as just a big collection of books, and I can't wait to read more of them. If you have a moment make sure to try this game. And if you don't have much time, just make sure to play the clock game and witness the MS paint experience in the boxman game.
I regret not discovering this game sooner. I am extremely disappointed that this game has not gained popularity, despite how cool it is. However, there is still time! This game is extremely short, but it has so much creative potential and creativity... Just look at the secret game, oh my god, this text is awesome! I hope everything works out for the developer. I understand how hard it is to create and just move forward without feeling solid ground beneath your feet, but sooner or later you'll be able to look at your creations with a smile. Thank you for such an awesome game :)
Not For You came off a little like a diary entry to me. It felt like I was genuinely able to experience Thomas Hunt's thoughts and feelings, especially with watching the interview tapes. I liked how different each experience was and the messages most were giving. And I even found myself laughing at the Greybox game. A very neat game if you enjoy witnessing someone's journey of self-reflection and maybe even evaluating yourself alongside them.
An hour of great lighthearted fun that hits right where it's supposed to, as much as it's supposed to. Not using Dreamscape for the boss fight for the ultimate 2010 feeling is a missed opportunity. The hidden achievement also doesn't seem to work, sadly.
Very charming and very personal. Really enjoyed it and hope that everyone makes the effort to get the secret achievement. I have not gotten it yet, but the attempt has opened up new content that I feel is really a lot of the heart of this experience. Going to have to check out Ink Forge's other games now!
Some of the games have bugs here and there but it's an interesting experience.
An interesting meta-narrative - Good work!
