Nice little nonogram game. It's on the easier side, 24 puzzles in adventure mode, ranging from 5x5 to 15x15. All of the puzzles stay true to the halloween-theme of the game. The last puzzle was hard compared to the other levels, albeit that seems fair for a "boss level". The game features a "random puzzle" mode, all puzzles I tried were solveable so that's nice. I personally don't like the random puzzles though as they are, well, random and thus don't result in real picture when solved, but if you just want to solve a puzzle or two for a few minutes, those will work fine. A few words on audio and settings: The BGM is rather loud, even when puting the slider in the settings to the lowest option that is not mute it was too loud for my liking, so I had to additionaly reduce it in windows settings. Besides the audio slides, there is an option to clear your data if you want to start over, and a toggle to enable or disable a check for mistakes. There are no settings to change the resolution, you can exit fullscreen by using the escape key. Returning to fullscreen is only possible via a restart of the game. Overall, I enjoyed the ~ 2 hours or so it took me to finish the adventure mode and try a few random puzzles. There are better (paid) alternatives with more variety or difficulty for sure, but for a free game, Nonogram Nights does just fine and, even if I don't like it personally, a randomizer with solvable results is nothing to scoff at. Thus I can wholeheartedly give a thumbs up :)

A better than average nonogram, but lost a bunch of quality of life improvements that other, superior, nonogram/picross diversions have. It'll indicate when a complete line is completed, but won't cross of halfway values from the line to aid in figuring out where you're within the perplex. many of the afterward astounds I'm not 100rtain are achievable without speculating.
Many nonogram games have large boards and eventually recognizable pixel art that shows after you complete part of the pattern. This one does not. There is an "adventure" path that has preset puzzles that you solve that turn into the pixel art. But, the art is usually not recognizable until the post puzzle tells you what the image is. As a free game, I am ok with that. I think this one works really well for people new to nongrams. Ignore the image, and focus on the numbers. Once you complete the predesigned puzzles, you have a random mode that you can do that just gives you random puzzles with names like "spooky trash" or "colorful blood". In reality, they are just random puzzles without a predetermined pixel image. If you have never played a nonogram, give it a play.
If you want a free game with typical nonogram puzzles and nothing terribly fancy, this game will suit you for the most part. Pros: - Simple interface. Direct. Nothing over-the-top. No cheesy or cartoon-like graphics that make me feel like I am playing a game for a two-year-old. - You can choose your puzzle size on random puzzle mode. - No forced timer. - Nice background that makes it easy to see what you are doing and does not obscure the lines of the squares in any way. - No microtransactions. Just play the game. - A cross section highlights in light blue showing the row and column your mouse pointer is on. - You can click once and drag your mouse across squares to add X's or filled squares, depending on which mouse button you are pressing. You do not have to click each one individually. Cons: - When you finish a puzzle in one of the modes, the game is slow to respond and close out of the puzzle. - The pink squares hurt the ♥♥♥♥ out of my eyes. There is no option to change the color. - No auto-completion available. For example, when you fill in all of the necessary squares for a row or column, any remaining squares do not fill in with X's. You must do this yourself. - The square you are placing your mouse pointer on gains a large pink border around it. This is probably a mere personal preference, but I would prefer that it was a different color from anything used on the board.
As much as I wanted to be optimistic about this game, after 15 minutes and the first 3 stages (15 levels total, 5 levels a stage), I was woefully bored, asking myself why I was playing this game. It's cool in concept, and there's no ads despite it being free, which is nice, but I can't justifying spending any more of my precious time on this planet on this game outside of finishing this review, deleting it from my hard drive and library, and hopefully from my mind. Off to play a million better puzzle games alone. Not bad by any stretch of the imagination - like i stated earlier. Just no incentive to keep playing. Not even achievements for story.
Adorable short nonagram game! Should take you sub two hours depending on your comfort with this type of puzzle, well worth it for a free game with no ads. My only complaint is the use of emojis as graphics but the gameplay was fun, and it was a lovely way to unwind for a couple hours
Good game, but for kids only. Sorry, Evan Hahn.
