Short but well-written story, about feelings that are so specific to my own life that it sometimes hurt to play, in a good way. Mainly the unseen but constant fear of disappointing the people you care about. The bullet hell part is easy but accurately shows how hyperaware I feel every time a gendered word is used. Also, this gets bonus point because I'm Italian and the team who made this is Italian too, making the story feel closer to home. The only downside is that the game's target is so specific that cis people probably won't end up playing this.

Very thoughtful game! I like the idea of bullethell + text based narrative, hope this idea can be expanded!
I did not expect to cry so hard. As an enby, this game spoke to me in ways I cannot explain. I think it's a clever metaphor, it just felt so real.
hgnghhhfhfhhghhjhhhghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay!! this is a game that tells the story it wants to tell. didn't quite click with me the way the devs intended it to; but i do like the way gender is presented and pushed onto the player and the story + mechanics. the themes and story and mechanics (gods, the mechanics!! excellent usage of bullet hell!! the customization of your ball-self at the end!!!!) were very simple, but effective. it's not a game intended for huge deep explorations of 'what it means to be outside the gender binary' it's a little deeper than surface level telling and showcasing on 'how gender is forced onto people outside the societal binary and how awful that feels and is' with a dash of romance (unfortunate, but part of the typical experience of being alive- i do like how it's handled, mostly). i like it! excellent for a free-to-play game with EXCELLENT execution of how gender is forced and arbitary. play it if you've got like twenty minutes free. thanks, devs!! <3
True to its nature with relatability factor :). My little fellow that represented me was a dark blueish circle with thin spikes all over them. For some reason, I believe James Wilson should try this
If it at all sounds like something you're looking for, you'll probably like it. It's very simply but conveys some very specific feelings very well and you'll likely get a little something out of it. It's short and free, and worth your time.
Genuinely, genuinely a wonderful experience. I really like bullet hells and I am nonbinary, this might have been made for me. The bullet hell element is fine, it's no touhou if you were worried. There's also a setting between easy and standard, if you're not a savant like me. The writing is wonderful. Really concise and to the point, and manages to communicate the world and the events happening, the emotions being felt, so well. I had a breakdown at the start of the boy route when I realized this character was having the exact same confused thoughts about the world as I had had. It was really therapeutic. It made me feel less alone. It's super good, I can only recommend it.
