Игра хороша, но нервы жрет очень быстро. Со временем играть стало скучнее и скучнее, но я не шибко отчаиваюсь 33 орба из 34
A unique experience in ways that exalt and crucify it and also you in more or less equal measure - gun to my head, I'd lean towards a rec over a rec against, but with a bunch of caveats. First off, you've gotta bear in mind that this isn't exactly *a* game, but three or four of them Human Centipede'd together by a supergroup of Finnish sadists. It's Spelunky with Liero characteristics married to Powder Toy with out-of-bounds content that is genuinely more of an ARG than anything else - it doesn't really matter how smart you are, you simply do not have the time to figure all that stuff out unless you're looking to make Noita your actual job for a while. I wouldn't recommend it, as the job's 99 percent done, anyways. Leave the two holdouts of Iwo Jima to tinker with the Cauldron of Nothing for another five years and binge the wiki whenever you get too mad at whatever it is that voided your 6 to 50-hour run of a game you can generally "beat" within the hour. And void your run it will - if the simple attrition of bad RNG and getting poisoned/set aflame by stray pixels and eating potshots out from the fog of war doesn't get you, then getting frozen or electrocuted or turned into a sheep or eradicated by a rare gimmick will probably do the trick. If *that* doesn't, then *you* probably will when you go to the wrong place, trigger the wrong boss, drink the wrong thing, tinker with spells in the wrong way, tinker properly but without the required secondary abilities, head out of bounds, shoot the wrong thing at the wrong guy, or stand between fish and a Death Cross and get a faceful of undisclosed interaction. Look, it's alchemy, and the sociopaths at Nolla are pleased as cheese to provide you with the authentic Nigredo experience. Seriously, just read the wiki when you start to crack - "spoiler" and "cause of death" are synonymous in this thing, and devoting an entire afternoon to learning one thing and that one thing being another pioneering discovery in being BTFO is only all that fun if you're really cleared your schedule. Now, if none of that scares you off, the good news is everything else. The game's more freeform than it lets on and losing is closer to winning than you might think. The engine is built from the ground up to render Hardcore Powder Toy, and Hardcore Powder Toy is really what this is at the heart of it - the rest of the game is there to issue prompts and force you to think outside the box and interact with the world in ways that similar idiot-goes-down roguelikes can scarcely comprehend. Case in point: the wand building is probably the star of the show, though a portion of the wands you naturally find are deliberately cursed to forbid it. Get past that, and you've got carte blanche to assemble novel healing spells, evil clouds of whiskey that detonate alcoholics, heat-seeking boulders, sawblade vortices, and room-clearing superweapons. Unless you read a bit too much of the wiki, that's all on you, and you have every cause to be proud of your latest psychotic creation when it clears half the game and then you as well. Treat every run like one big experiment, chiefly because that's exactly what they are. In short, a stupendous slog, a rare pain in the ass, technically unwinnable sadomasochism, and a unique experience with maybe one other thing out there remotely like it after half a decade - I don't think you'll regret feeding it a week of your life.
I CAST...... BLOW MYSELF UP!!!!! 11/10
