No Rest for the Wicked

Decided to write a review seeing all the recent negative reviews on this gem of a game. The quality in this game outclasses lots of AAA games today; games that have the audacity to charge twice as much. I'm 80 hours in and I can confidently say I already got my moneys worth. The multiplayer is a blast! The game is top tier in its current form, and its unique style really sets it apart from others in similar genres. I work as an indie dev, and reading the vitriol in some of these other reviews is mind blowing. You cannot tell me you actually played this game and think that they are scamming you. That position is ABSURD. You can feel the passion that has been poured into this game. It is EXTREMELY hard to predict when a game project will actually be ready to launch. There is so much ♥♥♥♥ that goes into making a video game. Did they miss the mark on their prediction? Sure. Despite this, the devs have taken full responsibility for that, and accountability in service of a better game is a trait I personally find admirable. Its a banger RIGHT NOW and I am confident 1.0 will be even better. Wait for 1.0 if you want, but there is an abundance of fun to be had here already.

This game is so well polished. it feels like a proper souls-like. Add a splash of the OG diablo and you have this masterpiece. Who would have thought an isometric game could also be a platformer with sick combat.

Great game, amazing art.

So far I've played demo/free. I enjoy the art style, the controls. The vibe. Will buy when it's full release. Been 2+ years in early access. I've bought too many games in early access that were never completed. Still recommend though
