I don't remember how much I paid, its been a few weeks. But for the price? Maybe. I thought this game was really cool but I've only played 17hrs. Other games like Crimson Desert and Kcd2 I have over 500 hours. I absolutely want a zombie game where I can play over 100hrs. But this isn't it. I'm not technically comparing games, just the length. If you have 4+ friends that actually play then maybe the difficulty makes it better. But solo, or two person. Him and I cant beat NORMAL mode. But that's not why I say no to this game. I would like more guns and ammo lol. More guns meaning there's a low selection in this game. I say no, because the objectives, even though they change, are repetitive. There's a handful of weapons. No ammo for weapons, no decent melee, and really nothing to this game. Again. I thought this game was awesome. But only before 5hrs of play. The difference between beginner mode and normal mode is crazy. Do you want a 200hr $70 game or a 20hr 20$ game? There's just nothing to this game. I went from wanting to play, even alone, to like, nah I'm good lol. I am 40. So it might be different for you.

played the game when it was first released refunded it. It was horrible but since the 1.0 the game has improved a lot its unique zombie game where teamwork(even with random people) is fun and rewarding and crucial to survival. If you are looking to buy the game but you are not sure if the game has improved I highly recommend to try it. pros: -realistic gameplay which is fun and not punishing -great graphics, atmosphere, sound design -lot of weapons to choose from -combat feels nice and alive -there is leveling system which helps to set some goals -each maps has couple of different variants cons: -game can have performance issues if your pc is not strong enough -Repetitive Objectives(needs more maps/content) -some people are saying that there are server and connection issues and I have seen ppl DC mid mission(did not happened to me a single time) -Solo Play is more of a practise mod(cant progress character) -no mod support, or map editor(hopefully in future) -character customization is very limited(needs more variety -game can be punishing and can have bit of a learning curve -Inconsistent teammates- you can have the most amazing teammates who help, share stuff, etc.. but you can get the worst group the next match who horde stuff and leave people to struggle behind because they lack equipment, etc... -------------------- tldr- game should have released like this in a first place
This game is the most fun I've had playing a multiplayer zombie game since L4D2. You can tell it needs polishing & updates to stay alive or it won't stay active for long but the potential is there. The eeriness & horror aspect of the game is captured so well. You have to work as a team & it's the only game where I generally feel a sense of dread when I'm separated from the team left alone. So far I've had no major issues playing the game after playing probably close to 100 matches now. If you want to feel like you're in a true zombie apocalypse where the last thing you want to do is fight off waves of undead because you know it could easily lead to your death then this is the game for you.
♥♥♥♥ this GAME
Its very fun and addicting. I enjoy killing zombies and extracting at the end. There could be more maps but the maps that are there have variety and don't always play out the same so it keeps the game refreshing and on your toes. Every run will be different in some way or another.
Game is fun, but it's got some big negatives. The guns and shooting feels awesome, melee is okay but stiff. The maps are not really much fun, and because they are badly designed they use the "Yellow paint" and "Yellow objects" to guide you. The game also needs some kind of Tarkov-esc system where you can throw extracted weapons or items with you into a locker for later use. It's apparently only got a limb system for the arms, and caving in the head, but it'd be cool to be able to shoot a zombie's leg off to slow them down. Another negative is it seems it wants you to grind like crazy. And despite this, I've had some fun.
Very fun game. Definitely worth the $30 price tag. I'd give it an overall score of 8 or 9 out of 10. Issues are minor and few from my experience so far.
get game if you like to grind and get mad
