Despite this game being an open world game it is surprisingly non-repetitive, surprisingly well written. I really like that this game puts out well written messages on how to do stuff and what to do next without forcing you to do anything. Not knowing what I was going in to, just hearing that evidently it's a great game for exploring I am positively surprised about the things it has to offer. A good example of "something for everyone" which often doesn't work out. Not sure how this game was in the early days or how it will be in the future, but today it's pretty nice and fun. Only hiccups I had so far were two versions of endless loading. One starting the game, one entering a space station. Given the game that I ended up basically flying though. Given that the game autosaves a lot it's not like I lost any progress. Had a couple of surprises that I am not gonna spoil. Seems like a good game to go into blind to a degree. Updates over so many years is a good sign, when buying a game.
