No Anglerfish

Great puzzle game combining exploration and sokoban. The variety of added puzzle mechanics really elevates this above the usual sokoban style games and the difficulty curve has something for everyone, from the novice to the hardcore puzzle lover.

Ok, this game is pretty good. The puzzles are great and the exploration is decent. This game is ass in a lot of ways, namely the presentation, but for 50 cents you can't go wrong.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. On the surface it is a simple Sokoban puzzler with a bit of overworld exploration. As you delve deeper you find some fun characters and unexpected depth to the puzzles and all around the experience has a charm that is hard to put into words but both the exploration and the puzzles are fun to do. It also has rewards for optimizing the puzzles but that is not required to get through the game and experience all of the puzzles. It also had a lot more content than I had expected which was a treat.

I usually find the classic sokobans "put the boxes in the right spot" boring, but this game has really cool puzzles/mechanics and some Witness-style exploration where you turn on and follow cables to the next puzzle which I really like. The other reviewers seems to have spent around 15 hours on the game, so if that's the real playtime then the game is really cheap and could probably be worth at least $5 or more!
