The game is fine for what it is, it’s really cheap and I’m sure you’ll probably enjoy playing this for hours. However, it has a lot of problems right now, you can buy it and try the game out if you want, but if I were you??, probably just wait for the devs to add more before buying the game. It’s a survival score attack style. I assumed that’s what the game is all about cus’ there’s no other objective on what you need to do and the description tells you, “Nixxsz Maids Blazing is a very simple and small score-attack arena slasher". For simple explanation, you need to kill as many enemies as you can, until the timer runs out and it will basically end the game. I don’t really know tho, the game is confusing. There’s a lot of problems the game needs to improve, but there’s also some positives that I think the game showed. Let’s get to my review, or at least all the list of pro’s and con’s the game got. The first thing I noticed is the artstyle, it seems fine and I really like all the characters' designs. It's great, they all look original enough, at least I think they look original. Though the blonde maid on the right looked like Charlie from Hazbin Hotel, maybe cus' of the make up she’s wearing, her hair color and the style of hair she got, also if you make her outfit red it will basically look like Charlie, it's probably just me tho. The characters are at least different from one another, each has their own specific abilities in the game when you use them. The only problem that I think the characters have, they all have the same primary action and only one canon style attack, but the canon seems fun to do, you can kill all the enemies in a single shot and the slash attack is satisfying when you kill an enemy. There’s only 3 playable maids to play as tho. Where’s the blonde maid at the right on the main menu?, and where’s the maid from the title of the game?. To be fair for the game, the blonde maid I’m talking about, just a recolor of the first maid you play as, but where’s the title screen maid at?. Just a nitpicked tho lol. The game doesn’t have enough enemies, there’s only 4 and only 2 types of enemies, and none of them are projectile type, well technically, all of them are different, but just the design. List of enemies in the game, the Mimic cus’ it’s looks like a Mimic but it’s a vase, an Automaton, reason why I’m calling it automaton and not robot, cus’ it’s a fantasy settings and only sense to call it an automaton (I don’t even know if those things are actual robots or just looks like one), an Orc cus’ why not and a flying dragon thing the only sense of danger the game got, cus’ the flying enemy is the only thing will actually attack, by slowly jumping towards your character. When I said 2 types of enemies, I meant like actual 2 types. The flying type and the type of enemies that just stand there and not doing anything, like they just stare at you and do nothing, they don’t charge at you, go towards you or at least throw something at you. Though it’s not a problem, I think it’s fine at least there’s not many bugs I encounter. It has a tutorial at least on how to play, but they didn’t really explain the goal and the objective of the game, it only tells you how to do a double jump, grapple, use your primary and how to attack, then it tells you to break the yellow door and that’s it. The tutorial doors are nowhere to be found in the game, no doors when you kill all the enemies, no doors when the timer runs out and no doors at the top of the chandeliers, yes I somehow got to the top, there’s a red door shaped thing at the bottom but it doesn’t have any doors to break. Also, the tutorial about breaking the door??, you’ll assume you can break the yellow highlighted objects cus’ that’s what they tell you to do, but you can’t do that in the game, there’s a yellow grapple platform but it’s unbreakable, there’s a yellow platform and that’s also unbreakable. It’s really confusing on what you need to do in the game, I only assumed it to be a survival game, score attack, which it is, if you read the description, but it’s vague, you probably think there’s more in the game when the tutorial told you to break the door. One problem, that I think will make the game get boring and stale real quick, is that there’s no other levels you can choose from, only one small arena. No big level arena, no gimmicks arena, no large arena, no gladiator style arena and no level that looks like a mansion, like the game writes itself, badass maids killing creatures. The only thing we got looks like a very small castle arena, that looks more like a dungeon with a couple of platforms to grapple from and that’s it. And also no other game mode, like one shot kill, survive the longest without the timer, co-op score attack which I think will probably fun to play, versus score attack and etc, That’s all the things I like and problems when playing the game, I still have a nitpicked with the main menu, settings and others. There’s only 4 choices on the main menu, the Tutorial, Start Game, Maid Selection which is weird, why not put it at the start game?? and the settings that only have change key binds, Mouse slider and Music slider, it’s 5 choices if you add the quit button. The music, well for the quality the game got, I think it’s fine, a bit generic metal music tho. Also there’s only one soundtrack in the whole game and the music bugged out when you paused and unpaused, it just became louder. I also got a weird audio bug, when you missed a shot from your canon, it played a weird static sound, and the only way of fixing that is to go back from the main menu and start a new game. The controls are fine, I don’t have any problems with that, but the Movements seems a bit off, it wasn’t the greatest, it’s still playable trust me, but it’s just annoying cus’ every time you land on the blocks or any platform, the character will basically slides off, yeah I know “Skill Issue” but the game is just too slippery. One minor problem I have. Changing keys doesn’t change the icon in the game when you play, that’s fine cus’ it’s not distracting when playing it. It just shows there’s still more to improve, and no difficulty selection when starting the game. That’s all, which is rough, there’s more problems than good. But for what it’s worth?. I think the game is fine, I just got a little bit disappointed. I thought there’s more in the game, but you know what? There's other games in the Steam store with the same style but worse and less cheaper than this, so I’ll at least give them that. Overall, I’ll give it 5/10, not good but not bad either. It’s decent.
Um jogo com grande potencial, tem mecânicas próprias, bom pra gastar o tempo. Divertido e caótico.
Um ótimo treino pra matar titã com gostosas!
Achei o jogo bem maneiro. As personagens são bem bonitinhas e achei bem gostoso se jogar. Gostaria de saber se vai ter mais conteúdo, como dlcs :D
