Nightmare Fishing Tournament

Really fun gameplay and progression I would expect something like this out of a paid game!! Though I would suggest making it easier to dismount and return to your boat rather than ending up in the ocean :)

Relatively fun for the first 30 minutes - 2 hours depending on the player, definitely needs more aspects of quality of life (QOL). For QOL: - There should be a feature that allows you to go to previous rounds or maybe encounter fish from previous rounds by using their preferred bait (if this feature is already in the game then its either not specified or I just missed it). I say this because I didn't harvest the scales of the fish from round one so I couldn't upgrade my flesh human, so I ended up quitting. - Entering fish into the tournament needs to be more worth it, the reason I say this is because I find it quite annoying that I can sell a 600 pound fish for $600 but enter it into the tournament for $500. - Pearls should be easier to get, I tried swimming to the bottom of the ocean and I got lucky, because there was a pearl right below me, but then I realized that there was no chance I could go back to the surface. I know pearls are supposed to be hard to get since they allow the player to get one of the best upgrades in the game, but they should at least be obtainable, yet very hard to obtain early game. A little bug: - Whenever you incapacitate a fish without hooking it, the fish swims to your boat and just hops on like he wants to be sold, more importantly after the fish jumps on your boat the game glitches and doesn't let you get out of the animation of the fish being caught, this was the final thing that made me stop playing for the time being. Overall: - I'd recommend giving this game a shot, you may like it more than me. The games very unique and has a lot of soul put into it, its also pretty funny in its own way, especially when the fish grabs you in its mouth and desecrates you. I played on keyboard and I didn't have many problems with the keyboard and mouse controls. I may even put more time into the game after I've written this review who knows. (I'd give this game a 7.2/10, in its current state.)
