Personally I loved this! Its the first story game ive played in a good while alone and it just hit right! The characters are lovable and the art style is cute, and the music is sick!

This is a great comfort game. The soundtrack is gorgeous and the characters and world are immersive. I watched JackSepticEye play this years ago and when I was feeling lonely one night decided to try it for myself. I'm so glad I did, because adventuring around as Mae has been an escape I needed.
Demon Tower almost made me cry because of how long it took me to do. But besides that, this game is just so frickin' good. Touches on a lot of topics regarding growing up and how much it sucks, how difficult change is, sad stuff like that. Mae's narration of details that seem pointless make you feel nostalgic and sad as she looks at giant creepy dinosaur mascots with rats inside them and recalls the time it ran over a kid's legs.

узнала об этой игре очень давно. лишь недавно я купила ее и наслаждаюсь жизнью кошки, которая не знает, чего хочет
very cutesy indie game with a nice story, loved it and very much worth my money
i pirated it before and loved it, got a new better laptop and bought it, still love it the same
in the opening minutes, there is a random stranger who I talked to after the main character comes home from college. He was surprised I was back, saying that he thought I'd go on to do something great or be something after college. I, in real life, started crying over that tiny interaction. I got out of college over a year ago. I did nothing with it. I made no progress, I just kept losing things. My family kicked me out, took me off all of their accounts and insurance, and I pushed my friends away as I started getting ready to end my life thinking that it would be made easier for them. I still havent talked to any of them. Its been months since we spoke. I hope they're okay. So far the story has the character reuniting with old friends, socializing, spending time with people she cares about. I have none of that. I have no story to progress through. I have no third act to look forwards to. There's never going to be a moment where things click into place. Theres no part of me that really wants to try. Theres nothing in me that actually wants anything at all. The main character reminds me of how I used to be. I used to have a lot of life in me, or at least a little bit of it. Talking to people having a lot to say, not knowing where life is going in the slightest but at least willing to stick around through it despite the constant suicidal thoughts. I dont know how to talk to people anymore. I cant open my mouth to speak to anyone, I can hardly make eye contact with anyone at all. I like this game so far. It makes me feel a sense of nostalgia for a home or a childhood that I never had in the slightest. Id like to finish it, and then I'd like to go to bed and not wake up
